- jerryjamesstone, on 04/01/2009, -1/+32Awesome, will they be serving Hindenburgers? Or Garden Hindenburgers?
- ExSlashdotter, on 04/02/2009, -0/+28I can't wait till April 2.
- WordsnCollision, on 04/01/2009, -1/+29This concept should go over like a lead zeppelin.
- bunkscene, on 04/01/2009, -0/+26Tickets please.
- nickaster, on 04/01/2009, -0/+25So ready for the legendary "propeller hole" on the frisbee course..
- jon30041, on 04/02/2009, -0/+22Freakin' wish this were real. Zeppelins are ***** awesome.

WHY OH WHY CAN'T THIS BE TRUE!!!!!! - np0731, on 04/02/2009, -0/+16OH, THE HUGE MANATEE!!!!
- analogkid01, on 04/02/2009, -0/+13April Foo-- oh, forget it.
- burkish127, on 04/02/2009, -1/+13I'm getting a little sick of all these joke stories.
- Jhiaxuz, on 04/02/2009, -0/+12Smithers, I've designed a new plane. I call it the "Spruce Moose", and it will carry two hundred passengers from Nework's Idyllwild Airport to the Belgian Congo in seventeen minutes!
- thedarkrabbit, on 04/02/2009, -0/+10No ticket!
- mehan, on 04/02/2009, -2/+11This april 1st ***** is getting to be tiresome. It ain't funny, and it ain't even believable. What's the ***** point?
- Asianwaste, on 04/02/2009, -0/+9Oh the humanity...
[/obligatory] - mohavlich, on 04/02/2009, -0/+8Why bury/digg everyone when I can just bury you instead?
- evergrim, on 04/02/2009, -0/+8Does this mean The Onion are going to run serious news stories today?
- allrighty, on 04/02/2009, -2/+8That wasnt even a funny april fools joke.
- kinseyincanada, on 04/02/2009, -1/+7ugh i hate april fools
- fatcitycolorado, on 04/02/2009, -0/+6I don't see how this couldn't be real one day given the right will and initiative. Wouldn't it be fun to drift down to the Caribbean and then island hop on one of these decked out like a Carnival cruise ship?
- craggatt, on 04/02/2009, -2/+8its ok, maybe its time for a break from the computer? Or maybe a nap? Someone sounds a little grumpy.
- Pinkertinkle, on 04/02/2009, -1/+7Starting next month, American Airlines will go bankrupt. All employees will laid off. Airplanes will be made into soda cans.
- flyingsquirle, on 04/02/2009, -0/+5Shinnanigans!
Shinnanigans!
I call shinnanigans! - Hiltonizer, on 04/02/2009, -0/+5the problem is when ideas this great are nothing more than pranks.
anyone got any connections to a VC firm that can make this a reality? - wh3873, on 04/02/2009, -0/+5Tomorrow. I know it's a joke but we have the tech, this ***** could be up and running tomorrow.
The top of a Zeppelin is the perfect place for solar cells ( it's huge and can get above cloud cover). I would much rather take a 2 day flight in a sleeping cabin that a 14 hour flight in a cramped seat. - wonkavsn, on 04/02/2009, -0/+5No ticket.
- Hetman, on 04/02/2009, -0/+5Please take your meds.
- cyrix, on 04/02/2009, -0/+4Leloo Dallas Multipass.
- macbookcoard, on 04/02/2009, -0/+4I see what you did there
- Gemfinder, on 04/02/2009, -0/+4[facepalm]
Damn, and I was all ready to break out my Steampunk goggles and duster coat.
Can't be real. There ain't a single piece of brass or copper on that thing. - DrRetro, on 04/02/2009, -0/+4I wish. I really do.
- Hetman, on 04/02/2009, -0/+3The thing is. That really the zeppelin was not a bad idea. The Hindenburg was really something that could be over came. I do not know how environmental friendly they really are, but I like the idea. It is kind of like a train in the sky. Do not get me wrong, flying is really nice because it takes hardly no time at all. But I still think it would be cool to take a zeppelin across country. Some one should really look into creating something like this.
- harpoonhank420, on 04/02/2009, -0/+3In other news Titanic 2 built, sets out for frigged North Atlantic later this month
- Evermin7, on 04/02/2009, -0/+3It IS tomorrow!
- momedefome, on 04/02/2009, -0/+3That was actually a pretty good joke , well done!!
- thirty6chambers, on 04/02/2009, -0/+3model?
- Hartley1942, on 04/02/2009, -0/+3Robert Plant as spokesperson... brilliant!
- NeonDistraction, on 04/02/2009, -0/+3Hey Farva, what's the name of that restaurant you like with all the goofy ***** on the walls and the mozzarella sticks?
You mean Shenanigans?
Ooooooohhhhh. - ktm9rick, on 04/02/2009, -0/+3How did you learn to type in a straitjacket?
- Hetman, on 04/02/2009, -0/+3I think it still is. Depending on the cost. Cruising across America in a Zeppelin sounds awesome. I am going to chicago to new orleans in a train this month. I specifically chose the train because I want to actually see some parts of the country with out just flying over it. It seems like a zeppelin would be even better. I think the view would be much nicer.
- supermanly, on 04/02/2009, -0/+3For April Fools' Day, why are all the ***** awesome stories jokes and the *****-up things actually true?
- randomerratum, on 04/02/2009, -0/+3I swear to god I'm gonna pistol whip the next guys that says shenanigans!
- thashiz, on 04/02/2009, -0/+3Apart from being April foolery, it's not an unrealistic idea... aside from the parachute part. ;)

- inactive, on 04/02/2009, -1/+3whats the difference between rush limbaugh and the Hindenburg?
one is a flaming nazi gasbag and the other one is a dirigible. - inactive, on 04/02/2009, -0/+2Wish this was real. I would love to ride in a luxury passenger Zeppelin. Hindenburg with helium would be awesome.
- ktm9rick, on 04/02/2009, -0/+2Apparently, on February 28th 2009, JohnEHubertz escaped the psych ward, grabbed a computer and found a place where he could ramble his incoherent, unrelated conspiracy theories. And hasn't shut the ***** up ever since. http://digg.com/users/JohnEHubertz/history/comment ...
- MalachiConstant, on 04/02/2009, -0/+214. Bungee Jumping Platform
- trebol, on 04/02/2009, -0/+2Wait a minute...something's fishy here: Frisbee golf courses don't have holes, they have poles!
