- inactive, on 04/10/2009, -0/+190Just watch him struggle to run with his 20 pound balls of steel
- inactive, on 04/10/2009, -1/+164lol it looked like he ran towards it, kicked its ass into dust and strolled on back.
- Xazos, on 04/10/2009, -1/+116Its great when the tornado chasers get chased by the tornados.
- samthurston, on 04/10/2009, -0/+110They stop, turn around, zig zag, move in circles. They're terribly unpredictable which is why smart people tend to keep their distance.
- diceau, on 04/10/2009, -0/+103I didn't know they could just 'stop'? That was awesome.
- Frankttank, on 04/10/2009, -1/+100Would have sucked if it started back up as he was running towards it
- PixelMagic, on 04/10/2009, -17/+103"What you are seeing off in the distance there is a tornado in western Kansas." *EDIT* *cut to another shot*
- sooperskip, on 04/10/2009, -1/+80Where the ***** is Bill Paxton when you need him? Quick, get Dorthy II ready for deploy!!!
- KILLERB00TSMAN, on 04/10/2009, -1/+62I've lived on Earth for 23 years and still have yet to have sex with a female
tornado - RBobby, on 04/10/2009, -5/+60What you refer to as an "edit" is actually the camera person pushing pause on the camera before they knew he was going to continue speaking. It's Unedited in the sense that they didn't bother editing unprofessional stuff like that out of the footage.
- luke374, on 04/10/2009, -0/+50Literally.

There is his bio. Has a good handful of legitimate credits from big time news sources.

And here is his contact. You should email him on how he fakes tornadoes so well. He has been doing this for a couple of decades now...so thinking about calling shenanigans on his work is somewhat insulting.
FYI using the movie Twister as a reference is not a good idea, though it does give a broad showing of what tornadoes are.
And here is a list of combined, rare circumstances. Enjoy!

...You get the point...stuff like this happens. - ghostlywind, on 04/10/2009, -2/+39I've lived in Kansas for 17 years and still have never seen a tornado.
- doublebummer, on 04/11/2009, -1/+36I surprised that he can run that fast with his enormous balls.
- RG13, on 04/10/2009, -1/+35That guy has so much more balls than I do. When the tornado stopped my thought would be "sweet lets get the ***** out of here" and not "sweet lets get close to it"
- samthurston, on 04/10/2009, -0/+33I don't care how badass you are, you can't beat up a tornado. Apologies to Chuck.
- Surferess, on 04/10/2009, -0/+33Tornado chasers are so badass!

- VenDrake, on 04/10/2009, -14/+33For what's its worth, I've been around a dozen or so tornadoes, and they have never, EVER, been that peaceful. Generally the wind, even miles away, is tremendous. Most come at night, so you can only see them when the lightning flashes. Even in "broad daylight" it's usually dark because they usually have very, very heavy cloud-cover with them; and the rain is generally torrential. This shoot has a combination of such rare circumstances that I'm tempted to call shenanigans.
- robdiggity, on 04/10/2009, -2/+21Unedited? There were like 20 cuts in that clip.
- DrakeGTA, on 04/10/2009, -0/+18I've lived in Roswell, NM for 26 years, and I've only been abducted by aliens once ...and they promised to call but never did.
- inactive, on 04/10/2009, -4/+21In Soviet Kansas? Clearly Obama is responsible here.
- Thud, on 04/10/2009, -0/+17I've lived in Atlanta, Georgia for 29 years and I have never seen a peach tree.
- maxtrix, on 04/10/2009, -1/+17If by sucked, you mean.... AWESOME!!
- spacerobot, on 04/10/2009, -0/+16Pretty amazing. It looked so peaceful. That guy has balls to run towards it like that, although for a few seconds there I thought it was going to turn into a fake movie and the dude was going to run straight into it.
- PixelMagic, on 04/10/2009, -0/+16You could tell from the voxels.
- Yankees368, on 04/10/2009, -1/+16fantastic
- webmasterjoe, on 04/10/2009, -3/+18How about overlaying text on the bottom, and adding in a still shot toward the end?
It doesn't take away from the power of this video, but it irks me that something with cuts and overlays could be called "unedited." - >mark, on 04/10/2009, -0/+15Must be an incredible adrenaline rush.
- tylerbauman, on 04/11/2009, -0/+14Dude, he totally killed the tornado. You see him run straight into it, then it cuts to a still image for a bit while he ***** ***** up, and the next thing you see is him walking back to the camera with the tornado dying behind him.
- robdiggity, on 04/10/2009, -3/+16Say ayeroxor, have a look at the top of your browser window. See all them pull-down menu options? Under which pull-down menu does the "Paste" function reside?
- Vaiper, on 04/10/2009, -1/+13mmmmm Trolltastic...
- biffen, on 04/10/2009, -1/+13Those were NOT dust devils.
/In Kansas - 3daywarranty, on 04/10/2009, -1/+13This guy does some amazing photography.

- jakash, on 04/10/2009, -7/+18In Soviet Russia (Kansas, US really, but whatever), tornado chases you!
- JoeCool1986, on 04/10/2009, -1/+12I've lived in Georgia for 22 years and I've seen about 100 deer, a dozen possums, and countless rednecks.
- bdogm, on 04/10/2009, -0/+11Female tornadoes suck.
- sketcher67, on 04/10/2009, -0/+10Do you like fish sticks?
- WorldLeader, on 04/10/2009, -0/+10That tornado was a whole lot milder than the one that hit my kansas town last summer. It hit the city full force at night.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xH5cWky6KSs - inactive, on 04/10/2009, -1/+11You would probably act in a toolbagish manner if you had a tornado coming right at your face too.
