What'd I say?
Ned Flanders: Monorail!
Lyle Lanley: What's it called?
Patty+Selma: Monorail!
Lyle Lanley: That's right! Monorail!
[crowd chants `Monorail' softly and rhythmically]
Miss Hoover: I hear those things are awfully loud...
Lyle Lanley: It glides as softly as a cloud.
Apu: Is there a chance the track could bend?
Lyle Lanley: Not on your life, my Hindu friend.
Barney: What about us brain-dead slobs?
Lyle Lanley: You'll be given cushy jobs.
Abe: Were you sent here by the devil?
Lyle Lanley: No, good sir, I'm on the level.
Wiggum: The ring came off my pudding can.
Lyle Lanley: Take my pen knife, my good man.
I swear it's Springfield's only choice...
Throw up your hands and raise your voice!
All: Monorail!
Lyle Lanley: What's it called?
All: Monorail!
Lyle Lanley: Once again...
All: Monorail!
Marge: But Main Street's still all cracked and broken...
Bart: Sorry, Mom, the mob has spoken!

- danieledotme, on 11/04/2009, -0/+8I live in Bologna, Italy. Nobody's talking about this except on the net.
Almost every year (and on every new major election) many projects are proposed in order to solve city traffic jams and public transportation deficits: even if BLQ is a 380,000 pop. city (plus college students), traffic is somewhat incredible. A standard tube is not possibile here, because the city is full of underground rivers and of pre-romanic ruins (1000 yr bc).
We are just waiting. Since 20 years.
This one seems like one of the most imaginative and pindaric proposals in the last years. Nice, innovative, goodlooking, but just an artist's concept. - publiclurker, on 11/04/2009, -0/+8And what does Bacon get, nothing!

- travdiggsit, on 11/04/2009, -1/+4I’ve sold monorails to Brockway, Ogdenville and North Haverbrook.
And by gum, it put them on the map… - ahhell, on 11/04/2009, -1/+3Solar power??? When will people learn!
- Quaterni0n, on 11/04/2009, -0/+1It's pronounced baloney!

Someone had to say it... - Milieunet, on 11/04/2009, -1/+1Yep, i like these transport-systems. Reminds me to the Interstate Hydrogen Superhighway in Michigan http://tinyurl.com/n6mgvt
