- xxTazxx, on 11/15/2008, -0/+32No, other countries are going to do what they always have done with Africa's resources, rape them.
To add to that, corruption. - dse78759, on 11/14/2008, -1/+20So if I read this right, China is going to be at the mercy of Russia?
- JBrown99, on 11/15/2008, -2/+19Great Lakes FTW.

edit: Ohh.. there's a pdf at the bottom... nevermind.. I'm a moron. - supersheep7, on 11/15/2008, -3/+13"This is the world's most precious resource, and we need to control as much of it as we can."
- brstilson, on 11/15/2008, -0/+10Michigan's entire water supply is the Great Lakes. In fact, where I live the laws on sewage are so stringent that the water the treatment plant puts back into Lake Michigan is actually cleaner than the water that gets taken out of it.
- robinthehood, on 11/15/2008, -1/+10Canada FTW!!!
- insanebrain, on 11/15/2008, -2/+10Humans are capable of cleaning every kind of water, and because this planet has more water than land, we will never run out of drinkable water. The price of clean water could rise, yes, but run out of it, no.
- RedMoonGenie, on 11/15/2008, -2/+9Why is this getting dugg down? Dammit, it's funny!
- Murdats, on 11/15/2008, -2/+9nah, china will own america and its water by then
- Syraxis, on 11/15/2008, -0/+6Nah, we'll have Liberty Prime to protect us.

- JakeKreber, on 11/15/2008, -0/+5where are my ***** pirates?
- TheFamousOne2, on 11/15/2008, -2/+7Ummm...the ocean? Desalination isnt THAT big of an issue.
- vengefuldrx, on 11/15/2008, -0/+5The process takes a considerable amount of energy, more reason for renewable energy.
Renewable Tech FTW! - Rudegar, on 11/15/2008, -0/+5[Urine Passes Nasa Taste Test]

- tim620, on 11/15/2008, -0/+2Thats just it, it is going to become extremely expensive to clean and/or desalinate all the water, which will make it very prohibitive to most people in the world, thus, it is likely for wars over water to happen in the not so distant future.
- robinthehood, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2awww *****.
- Incrediblegulk, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2This could come in handy when we all drive cars powered by water.
"No, it's a car....only you put water in the gas tank instead of gas....and it runs on WATER MAN!" - Rudegar, on 11/15/2008, -0/+2dry martini is a MYTH!
- bjorna, on 11/15/2008, -0/+2Or we could just do as in waterworld, pee in a thing, and drink the water which comes out :P
- inactive, on 11/15/2008, -1/+3salination, no breathing
don't give a ***** if i cut my arm, bleeding - tim620, on 11/15/2008, -0/+2vergefuldrx is right, desalination is very expensive and requires a lot of energy. It is not as easy as plopping down a desalinization plant in Sim City. Until we are able to do it with less expense, future wars over fresh water may be a reality.
- sassafras1232, on 11/15/2008, -1/+2Except the damn .pdf map is in there SIDEWAYS! And I don't think there's any "rotate"
option in the Adobe Reader... - areyouserious, on 11/15/2008, -1/+2Burrrrrrp!
- tim620, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1Actually...bullets are cheaper. Desalination is expensive.
- Paranoidmarvin, on 11/15/2008, -1/+2Am I the only one thinking Scotland would be a little wetter?

- MrSlumberjack, on 11/15/2008, -0/+1What about Greenland? Huuge amount of freshwater in the ice sheet.
- joecomputerdude, on 11/15/2008, -1/+2uhhh... where did the Mississippi river go?
- tim620, on 11/15/2008, -0/+1Actually it is THAT big of issue. It requires alot of energy and is very expensive. Cleaning and desalination will put the price of water out of the reach of many (or most) people on earth.
- mplumb, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1Who
- vbullinger, on 11/15/2008, -0/+1"You can not pee into a Mr. Coffee and get Taster's Choice!"
