10 Nations vulnerable to global warming demand strong action

news.mongabay.com — A group of nations especially vulnerable to the effects of climate change have released a declaration calling for developed countries to keep CO2 emission below 350 parts per million (ppm) and to give 1.5 percent of their gross domestic product to aid developing nations in adapting to the myriad impacts of climate change.

  • jhance, on 11/12/2009, -0/+1You realize of course that the drought that swept through Kenya and Tanzania--both at the summit--left hundreds of millions hungry, left the corpses of livestock across the entire region, and literally dried up lakes and rivers that people depend on. I don't think this is about chalets.
