She said that she always had a weakness for guys with an accent, because somehow they relate to her father. I kinda laughed a bit but apparently...makes sense.

People choose a mate that will resemble the figure that raised you, because the mind subconsciously thinks that their mate might do a good job of raising their own children. I wonder what the consequences are if said person's parents were terrible people. Would the human mind still choose a partner that resembles their parents?
