- treyd, on 10/12/2007, -2/+18I started watching the video and got so into it I forgot what site I had found it on. I thought it was cool and was in the mind to submit it to digg when I realized I had just found it on digg. I need sleep.

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7If that dude didn't tie his boat to the tree, the island would still be there. You're lucky the earth didn't turn inside out, Bill. You think your wife's a nag now?

My personal favorite is the story of Centralia, Penn, where an underground fire has been burning for the last 45 years: http://www.damninteresting.com/?p=479 - ij00mini, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Although I might get dugg down, I just want to say that this Engineering Disaster is a disaster of Lack of Communcation. The Salt Mine Company and the Drilling company failed to communicate. So it's not one guy's fault who is "sure as hell gonna get fired," but the fault of every company involved.
