- spikeymom, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0Good to see UNICEF shining a light on Somalia.
- stpteach, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0It's a frightening situation for the children in Somalialand. I'm pleased that it's being brought to light by UNICEF.
- daisyhill, on 07/09/2008, -0/+0UNICEF, and its Ambassador, Clay Aiken, are showing the atrocities that plague the children in Somalia and other places. Thank you for opening our eyes to caring about someone other than just ourselves!
- CB266, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0I've learned so much about Somalia recently, I kind of feel guilty for forgetting about the people there. Politics should not trump humanity.
- MollyO2, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0This is such a terrible situation. I am glad that Clay Aiken is taking time to travel there and try to help the best way he can by letting the word know of the sad state of thse people.. I hope a lot of money is raised . I will donate as much as I can spare. Did you know that the celebrities pay all their own expenses when they travel to these countries?
- dakota24, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0Thanks so much for this article and thanks Ambassador Clay for all your good work. It has been years since I have heard anything about Somalia. Looking forward to your full report.
There are so many children all over the world that need our help. UNICEF is one of the leaders in this area. You have my support. Looking forward to the The Survival Project: One Child at a Time (CNN) July 6, 2008 Sunday 8:00PM EST. - liney23, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0I read about all the nasty innoculations and stuff you have to get to go there and wow, Clay really cares about the children to go thru that.
- TLCGraphics, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0Thank you UNICEF and Clay for all your efforts on behalf of children everywhere.
- shezgirl, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0I was clueless about the condition of the children in this area. Glad I can do something to help.
- rahdal, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0Somalia is a region of the world that has been forgotten. Thank you for the article and the reminder. I am a strong supporter of UNICEF and all their endeavors on behalf of children around the world. Why the media chooses to ignore these issues is anyone's guess. Guess they're too busy manufacturing sensationalistic garbage they think will bring them a few extra cents on a website somewhere. Sad.
- snupe93, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0I'm looking forward to hearing more about Clay Aiken's experiences in Somalia and what Unicef is doing there. I hope this visit will bring more education and awareness about the country and it's people.
