Thursday, noon (PST) is best. Never on Monday.
networkworld.com — What are the best and worst times to post that gem of a blog item? The answer is early to mid-afternoon, but never on Monday, according to a statistical analysis conducted by one blogger/programmer. Time part makes sense, but are Mondays really a blogger's Bermuda Triangle? If so, why?

- thesnowfox, on 05/06/2008, -0/+3Good to hear - can't get a lot done on Mondays anyway :)
- thebradmiskell, on 05/06/2008, -0/+3On Monday, hungover office people feel like they should show some initiative at work. By Thursday, they're all, like, "Screw it, did you see that chick shaving the wolverine on YouTube?"
- JoeyGallo667, on 05/06/2008, -0/+3I actually saw an article about this on WebProNews.com Pretty interesting. Its important to know when people are out there lookin for some news.
- geraco, on 05/06/2008, -0/+2right mondays are my day in bed.
- kraft123, on 05/06/2008, -0/+3In my statistics monday is not the best day!
- LewP, on 05/07/2008, -0/+2I think we are talking apples and oranges here. This statisical data may be relevent for people who get paid for blogging, but most of the people I know just write to be writing. That said, I submit more than one story a week which is what this guy is doing. So to me, I blog much more than one story per week...it doesn't pertain to me, or other "free" bloggers in my humble opinion.
- webaddict, on 05/07/2008, -0/+2I think most serious bloggers blog enough that they might not always be able to squeeze in these timeframes.
- Disarticulate, on 05/07/2008, -0/+3A lot of people will be reading Digg at work. In my experience Thursday is the day when I start slacking off. Monday's I'm usually hungover and fighting to stay awake not the best time for reading informative articles.
- misanthropegirl, on 05/07/2008, -0/+1Brave new world!
- AussieCynic, on 05/07/2008, -0/+3agree Mondays is my lacking day, slow traffic day etc... and Friday afternnoons can also be slow people getting ready for the weekend...
- claudia7950, on 05/08/2008, -0/+1not on Mondays and Friday afternoons, at least for non-professional bloggers. IMHO submissions here in digg have a sort of suspend button on weekends, the peaks are on Wed/Thu. This is a non professional speaking so take it as it is.
