- ActiveMatx, on 10/12/2007, -2/+28That wasnt much of a how to..... I prefer to do it the "tails I win, heads you lose method" myself.
however, flipping the coin so that it doesnt actually flip, but instead just wobbles was a nice idea.... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+23are they in a gay bar?
- bdit1200, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10This is no good. I just don't see it working stateside...
"Hey, I tricked you. Now buy me and these other knobs a drink..."

This is a show telling you how hustlers work. They were showing you two methods of doing it... - growlzor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Thats cool although I would be suspicious of them getting tails three times in a row
- RonAcierno, on 02/07/2008, -4/+9The real hustle has been getting alot of publicity on youtube... i love there videos
- LaughingMan11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead!
- carpeclunes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3She is in other episodes, usually when the hustle requires a hot chick.
- elitexero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3"is that the "party boy theme" from jackass playing in the background? i was expecting bunny the lifeguard to come out."
Not even close - andoru, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I've never trusted that method of catching the coin and flipping it over onto your other hand - it's always looked "cheaty" to me. In my view, no coin toss is valid unless you just let it bounce around on the table until it comes to rest.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2They probably try it until it works with someone - nothing on 'the real hustle' ever goes wrong.
- FlapJaw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'm pretty sure the jittery zooming was done on purpose to add some drama. You know?
- zephc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I can flip a coin and get the side up I want almost totally consistently, with a better than 95% probability. I figured out how to do this in around 4th or 5th grade, but I have little idea how I do it. As far as I can tell, it has to do with the rate at which I flip it. It ends facing up on the same side as it started on my thumb. Maybe I need to get a high-speed video camera and figure out whats going on.
- manova, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I can do that too. I can't explain it either, but I know the feel. I can get the side that was facing up to start with probably ~90%. I use this in class when I am teaching random samples and I want to divide the class in two. That way I can control how the groups actually turn out. It always sucks when you have a one time class example and true probability bites you in the ass to give you a weird sample.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Well, that was a pain to watch... Gave up about 30 seconds in because that was some of the WORST camera work I've ever seen. What the hell!? Seriously, super fast zoom-in/zoom-out like every 5 seconds. Who the hell thought that was a good idea? God, I feel seasick.
- khalua, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1is that the "party boy theme" from jackass playing in the background? i was expecting bunny the lifeguard to come out.
- fredpeters, on 04/04/2008, -0/+1Cool way to toss a coin - http://uscoinsstore.com
- iamsojelin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Everyone should just download the episodes - they're fantastic and really fun to watch. They have a proposition bet like this (and the other two or three that have been on Digg) in every single episode.
- hobbers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@ andoru
That's what I was thinking, even though I don't live down under. Sure, you do a little bet to see who buys first, but in the end, no one is buying for everyone. So if I get the first round, a buddy gets the second round, and the 3rd guy says "hey, let's celebrate with champagne" - I'd say "sure, go get it". If he gives you ***** about it or suggests a bet to buy, then you tell him to stop being a pussy and chip in on the drinks. I'm not a bank for random people at a bar. - s6t9eve, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think this would only work here in the UK, its normal that on a night out 1 person will buy each round of drinks ofr a whole group, and its not uncommon that we will play little games/ bets to decide who buys the drinks. Weh ni have gone to toehr countrys on buisness it seems that everyone buys ther own drink.
- LethaLImpuLse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Whos the chick at the end?
- andoru, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sounds like a UK television show - things would be very different here in Australia. First of all, it's very unusual to use a game to decide who buys drinks. If the winner of the first game suggested they continue to use the method, then they would be told "NO, none of those games, we have had our turn, now its YOUR TURN to buy the drinks!"
- cjmac87, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0actually i wondering about the song the play in the beginning... any one know the band... i had the song on my ipod a while back but i can't remember what it's called anymore.
i really like this series too, though this one wasn't that great - OutThisLife, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've done this in a few bets, nobody notices it because they are concentrating on their own coin.
Made 10$ from friends :D - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1She is so hot we will all digg it
- newanon, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Personally i think the second one is best because it's much less obvious.
- amoo3, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2You you could make a 2 sided heads penny in Chemistry class using a little HCl
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1I can't watch this video because I was sick and tired of the obnoxious camera hand trend 5 years ago. Are they just grabbing epileptic, geriatric drunks off of the street, and throwing a $20,000 camera in their hand, telling them they'll get a slice of bread if they point it at the guy who talks? Are they actually teaching this "technique" in schools nowadays? One more reason not to watch television.
- illt, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1is youtube loading movies very slowly? or just me...google video and other sites still feel zippy.
michigan comcast here. - scratched, on 10/12/2007, -13/+7Here's one you can't lose on: Heads I win, Tails you lose!
- maximized99, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4Way too obvious. If someone tried to pull this con on me I'd make them eat the coin.
- Samsong, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Kinda obvious...
- Ruqsaq, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1whats the point of the fake "wobble toss"? why don't they both flip and feel wether the coin is heads or tails and switch accordingly.
- dxmzan, on 10/12/2007, -13/+3I thought that asian dude was a chick.

What is Digg?
