- Xette, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0The thing with cheating men (and women) is more than likely they'll do it again... and again... and again. I'm finished with my series of men (though they weren't husbands) who promised the world to me and then went behind my back and went with another woman. It's out to the curb the first time and maybe under rare circumstances a second time!
1. You are willing to understand why he has strayed, and are willing to correct the problem. - It makes it sounds as if it's your fault he strayed. How about the man take some responsibility for his own actions instead of making some lame excuse as to why it's YOUR fault he did it (I felt under appreciated, etc., etc., etc.)? I did read on and it did say 'He was in the wrong for cheating but correct the problem anyway'. The article almost sounds a bit contradicting.
2. You are willing to forgive him for his behavior. - Easier said than done. I am the forgiving type but again like I said a man that cheats will more than likely cheat again and again.
However I did digg this article because I do think that there are men who fall victim, so to speak, to a fling, feel horribly guilty and never want to do it again. I understand and realize that everyone is human and makes mistakes and this article can come across as nurturing to women who truly love their man and know deep down that their man truly loves them back.
