- techobo, on 04/17/2009, -0/+29I don't think I've ever watched a TED video I didn't like.
- thebeginning, on 04/17/2009, -0/+9Rock climbing is way underrated and incredibly addictive. Once you start, you never want to stop.
These are some good tips. - IvanB, on 04/17/2009, -1/+10Always hated going rock climbing with school, but would be ready to try the real deal.
- neillawson, on 04/17/2009, -1/+8Rock climbing is fun. A lot more fun than being rejected by someone to go to the prom... :(
- RumpleForeskin3, on 04/17/2009, -1/+8Rule #10
When your grip on life starts to slip, reach in to that bag of white powder and get a grip on things. - protogenxl, on 04/17/2009, -1/+710. Never go rock climbing with Sylvester Stallone
- inactive, on 04/17/2009, -1/+6TED is such a ridiculous stash of knowledge.
- ianbirtwistle, on 04/17/2009, -1/+5Some decent tips. They should have got Sharma to demonstrate :D
Power SCREAM! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlcQ3mxlNfs - protogenxl, on 04/17/2009, -0/+4Well that covers the coke side of the equation, were there any whores?
- McReynolds, on 04/17/2009, -0/+4#0: Don't think of your wife and kids.
- AndrewMoyer, on 04/17/2009, -0/+3I never knew chalk was so deadly.
- inactive, on 04/18/2009, -0/+3I don't have to feel my spine to know that I can't move my legs.
- 12916studios, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2Same here. It doesn't matter what subject was discussed, even if it's one I couldn't care less about, I have also enjoyed the lecture. I think that's saying something.
- IamDexx, on 04/18/2009, -0/+2TED is just awesome!
- cosmotic, on 04/17/2009, -1/+3It's probably because they have to compress an hours worth of content into 10 minutes so all that is left is the exciting part. It leaves me wanting more because they leave out all the juicy details, but it makes for a rather full-proof format.
- Rivetgeek, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2I've always wanted to go to TED but the $6000 price tag is a bit much.
- cosmotic, on 04/17/2009, -1/+3I'm sorry mister Nazi, I meant foolproof. Please don't gas me!
- bkraj, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2Sharma is a beastttttttttttttttttt.

- Rally603, on 04/17/2009, -0/+2I don't know about rocks, but I could use some tips for climbing stairs... those ***** are a killer.
- DiggMasterJ, on 04/18/2009, -0/+1Doesn't the hang in there rule contradict the know when to let go, don't wait till the bitter end rule?
- Retrokid, on 04/17/2009, -1/+2And here I thought full-proof was a full-proof phrase...
Silly me. - darkfate, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1It's also invitation-only I believe.
- inactive, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1That sounded really corny rump... But I'm glad to see you took the initiative. Lead, follow, or get out of the way!
- Rivetgeek, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1http://conferences.ted.com/TED2010/register.php
Its not really invite only, but they do pick and choose who gets in from the registrations. - Darkyuubi, on 04/18/2009, -0/+1Its a sliding scale.
There is a difference between giving up too early and not knowing when to give up (waiting till the bitter end) - KathyAlbrecht, on 04/18/2009, -0/+1Where is that talk Kevin Rose was talking about? The one about the velcro stuff that let the guy climb up a wall.
- Fleagleman, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1this will make it onto Diggnation regardless of the number of Diggs it gets.
- nkazant, on 04/17/2009, -0/+0Hang in there, buddy. There is life after high school, and let me tell you as an older guy, it is ***** awesome by comparison.
- hhmmmm, on 04/17/2009, -0/+011. You can fix any injury with super glue and tape
- V3rssmile, on 07/23/2009, -0/+0thanx for greatest rules
- dbz253, on 04/17/2009, -3/+3of all the recently added TED videos, this is the one you choose to submit?
- kinneys, on 04/17/2009, -1/+1True Story:
My chiropractor and his friend completed all of their studies, many years. They decided to celebrate with a weekend of freestyle rock climbing. His friend fell and hit hard. While laying there by himself he diagnosed his own injury with his hands, moving them along his spine and neck. Verdict was, paraplegic.
No kidding really happened. - cosmotic, on 04/17/2009, -2/+2AndrewMoyer, that is completely unrelated. People that correct spelling and grammar are very commonly referred to as Nazis. Additionally, the very first reply to the comment used the term Nazi, so the use of the term was at the very opposite end as to which Godwin's Law relates to.
As cool as Godwin's Law might be, it doesn't have a place here. Do you have a program that alerts you (maybe with a PS or SNES sound) whenever someone uses the word 'Nazi on Digg'? Then you pounce on it like a hyper-troll, posting that link? In hopes of getting as many comment Diggs because of the coolness factor of the Law itself and not the relevance of it's posting? - GumGuts, on 04/17/2009, -1/+1fora.tv is really really great too.
- minataur4u, on 04/18/2009, -0/+0exactly the point: it is a matter of degree and judgement. you have to have a clarity about your abilities...
- bab5871, on 04/19/2009, -0/+0I started climbing 3 years ago. I currently partially reside at my gym 5-6 days a week, and with my girlfriend in my apartment any time i'm not there. Wait...that should be the other way around shouldn't it?
Either way, VERY addicting. The worst thing you can do to a group of climbers is make them climb something tricky, or have to avoid doing a move... we sat around yesterday for 3 hours trying to figure out how to do a climb without using a razor sharp hold. We did it, but it bugged us all till we got it. - holyskeleton, on 04/17/2009, -3/+1Rule #1: get outside
- inactive, on 04/17/2009, -4/+1IvanB, by now you must have realized that you are an apple-cheekedly vomit-coloured pair of French knickers.
- thebeginning, on 04/17/2009, -4/+1Kevin Rose better digg this.
- shutaro, on 04/17/2009, -8/+3Who is this Ted and what does he know about rock climbing?

What is Digg?
