(still probably no the smartest thing to do) if a lion is trying to kill you thought i doubt you will be able to wrestle with it for 30 seconds with out it bitting you. that and the way it paned away at the end then back to lions eating meat with a blue sweater next to it.

The camera cuts away way too often...and pans around too often...and captures video of too much un-important things, like the other cars/people. Also, the lions never really looked like they were going in for a kill, they looked to be playing with that person...when they were trying to kill him they'd probably go straight for his neck...just my opinion though :)

-> The camera work is too elaborate, panning to capture the emotion of the baby crying whilst your buddy is being eaten? As well as the multiple camera angles.
-> The tumbling around with the lion, who supposedly is biting his arm. A lion goes for the kill by targeting the neck, The guy was a lion trainer wrestling them.

BTW the Faces of Death producer himself admitted publicly that most of his gory footage was staged by actors too simulate smut film.

So, no it's not "fake." I love how it's apparently cool on here to say every interesting video or picture is "obviously fake." As if the internet is just some magical fantasy land where nothing is real. (This may be true, but only half the time). No, a guy got killed by lions and he wasn't a dumb tourist, he was a dumb wildlife photographer. Just let yourself be traumatized.
