Student beats the drum to combat poverty in Gambia

deeside.ac.uk — Deeside College A level student Laura Ferran, is spending her final summer before moving on to university in a very different way other students. Community conscious Laura will travel to Gambia, West Africa, where she will volunteer as a youth worker at the Gunjar Project, a residential centre in the region.
