St. Louis U.Coach gets heat for pro-abortion comments
lifenews.com — Its one thing to be privately opposed to Catholic Church teachings (although still a personal sin as a professed Catholic) but quite another to publicly share those views. This is heresy and a scandal. Thank God for Bishops like Burke who are willing to stand up against public displays of defiance.

- Christianptriot, on 01/24/2008, -0/+2Too many people in professional positions forget that even in their private lives what they say is always taken as representative of their employer and/or their profession. You have to have some smarts and discretion, and engage it before you start up your mouth and reveal your idiocy.
- prolifemama, on 01/24/2008, -0/+1There are just some things you can't disagree with and remain Catholic, or even Christian. Sanctioning the murder of our yet-to-be-born sisters and brothers is one of those things. It would be well for Coach Majerus to prayerfully re-examine his commitment to his Catholic faith, and discuss his proabort convictions with his pastor. I will hold Coach Majerus in prayer.
