Your resume is printed on the finest of paper stock. You've considered and are prepared for the tough questions you're going to be asked (usually beginning with the phrase, "Tell me about a time when...")

- sq2shooter, on 10/12/2008, -0/+1With limited exception of a site like Facebook where you are trying to meet up with people from your past, there is no reason whatsoever to use your real name on any site. I have accounts all over the place and not one has my real name associated with it. Why would you? As someone who has hired a number of people, the downside of having your name out there is greater than you think. I did not hire someone a couple of years ago based on what I found during a google search of their name. Glad I learned what I did before bringing them on board. And they are idiots for having it out there and not expecting anyone to find it.
