- Bumbledore, on 07/19/2008, -0/+13Disgusting! They've been doing this sort of thing though since the beginning. After all, L Ron Hubbard claimed to be adopted by the Blackfoot tribe when he was a child, and THAT NEVER HAPPENED EITHER!
- no12u, on 07/19/2008, -0/+12Scientology is built upon lies. It's no surprise they are silent about this travesty. They're so desperate for validation I could write "Nobel Peace Prize" on a piece of paper and mail it to them and they'd except it and claim it was the truth. Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic...
- Plupsyeah, on 07/20/2008, -0/+11Disgusting.
- sasquatchin, on 07/19/2008, -0/+11That evil cult will stop at nothing to trick people into joining.
- Delanon, on 07/20/2008, -0/+11Interesting note about this supposed medal the CULT recieved. From the article:
"The Fire Department Medal of Valor was first issued by the FDNY in 1911 and is engraved with the City seal. Shortly after World War II, the Department began issuing this medal to the next of kin of members who had died in the line-of-duty. Since 1960, the medal has been awarded posthumously and exclusively for line of duty death."
My vote is...disband this psychotic CULT, close the Orgs, freeze all bank accounts associated with the Co$ pending criminal investigations into their activities, get the lower members help in recovering from their brain-washing and the ill effects of the bogus "tech" and give them their money back, get the upper members like Miscavige and cult "officicers" who know its all a scam and are responsible for many deaths in jail, force their front groups like CCHR, Narconon, Crimonon and Applied Scholastics out of business, label every tech and assist guide as fiction, including Dianetics, and declare the CULT of $cientology dead... THEN, they can claim their exclusively posthumous, fraudulently obtained medal. - markbyrn, on 07/19/2008, -0/+11Is this a case of Stolen Valor or perhaps Xenu and the Thetans are trying to cover up good deeds?!
- Hellsmk2, on 07/19/2008, -0/+10***** holsters!
- TheHostiles, on 07/20/2008, -0/+9ugh, could they have any less respect for humans?
- DeathHamster, on 07/20/2008, -0/+7They've already been sniffing around to see if they could scam a Nobel Peace Prize for Hubbard. That's why Tom Cruise wormed his way into co-hosting the award ceremony in 2004. (The same year as the leaked Crazy Tom videos.) I'm not sure if they ever award the prize to dead people, but Scientology would claim that Hubbard wasn't really dead, but is now out there in space somewhere, avoiding Venusian locomotives.
- genoramix, on 07/21/2008, -0/+2this is absolutely disgusting. Especially i'm sure scientology would be capable to send 2 airplanes on the WTC just to make them look good(i'm joking for those who thought i could think co$ is al-qaeda:P...they are WORSE;) )
