Professors Teach Free Online, Print Their Own Diplomas

David Wiley taught an online course at Utah State University last fall and let anyone fully participate, even if they weren’t enrolled. The unofficial students paid no tuition and got no formal credit, but they did get a homemade certificate signed by Dr. Wiley.
