- sheeplescareme, on 11/23/2008, -0/+63if the government declares a "war" on sonething, you can guarantee three things:
1) they will make the problem worse.
2) they will waste a huge fortune of taxpayer monies.
3) the real war will be on the people and their constitution. - emazur, on 11/23/2008, -1/+51Superior Court Judge James P. Gray
I found his website:
http://www.judgejimgray.com/ - brainon4u2, on 11/23/2008, -0/+36Sheepless - could no have said it any better! The war on terror is fake - the war on our freedoms is real. They want us to live in fear. "get Bin Laden" - Obama will need a spade for that: AlQuida - fake name attached to any group who is violent and developed and supported by CIA/FBI.
- CoolHandLuke70, on 11/23/2008, -0/+32The CIA is the biggest mover and pusher of drugs in the world. Funny that the rest of the world has a grasp of this but not most Americans. If they really wanted to go after drugs and terrorism they would but the real agenda is to go after individual freedoms in order to subjugate the masses into Orwellian neo-feudalism as well as just cull billions of the population from the feeding trough in order to take the population back to pre-Industrial Revolution numbers. The drugs are a money making machine to pay for their black ops and support their agenda. A good friend of mine who was serving in the military in the 80s was flown back from Panama in a C-130 packed full of cocaine. We have troops who have admitted being ordered to watch poppy crops in Afghanistan. Folks, wake up! Many of the American echelon of elite had their hands in the drugs coming out of the Vietnam war(poppy Bush). They operate under the disguise of maintaining a wholesome, pure, character in order to gain support for the 'war on drugs--just say no' , 'war on terrorism' when they really are demonic greedy and disgusting individuals who are more prone to destroying any thing good or wholesome. And the reason you see them going after marijuana and meth before cocaine and heroin is that they are responsible for the cocaine and heroin being in the U.S. BUT marijuana and meth can be cooked and grown by individuals and the government hates competition! Funny you never hear Al Gore talk about the many environmentally supportive uses for growing and using hemp!
- jana67, on 11/23/2008, -0/+28Wow! Huge eye opener...
- voicce, on 11/23/2008, -1/+28Pay attention, it's rare for someone in the power system to tell the truth about the ever growing totalitarian machine. If we don't work to end oppression it will destroy the small remnant of freedom we have left.
- CasaWood, on 11/23/2008, -0/+25It's amazing how these types of efforts help to grow the power of the federal government while subjugating us further. For another eye opener reference the 2004 case of Gonzales v. Raich, it will turn your stomach. This Sunday (7pm EST) Dr. Kevin Gutzman, author of "Who Killed the Constitution?" and more will join us as our special guest. Tune in live to chat and call in with your questions; http://www.blogtalkradio.com/March-of-Liberty
- SisterSabbay, on 11/23/2008, -1/+25What Judge Gray of the California Superior Court omitted to mention is that Drug prohibition benefits those Lobbying to bring the massive quantities of DRUGS into the Country. LOL :)
Dugg by Sa'bbay :) - inactive, on 11/23/2008, -0/+24A judge that's honest...now there's a novelty!
- wjappe, on 11/23/2008, -0/+21The drug war (and the AMA, FDA's stranglehold on pharmaceutical drugs) are such a waste and counter to our ideals of freedom (our so called freedoms, Europe and other countries are much more liberal on pharmaceutical drugs). Here is where special interests and the self righteous and the ignorant make a mockery of our free America. And it looks like it will never end. Big money corrupts absolutely. The whole thing makes me sick.
- vincebodie, on 11/23/2008, -0/+19"The number one cash crop in California is marijuana. Number two is grapes, if you care."
Well, I also like wine, so I'm glad to hear that. ;-) - inactive, on 11/23/2008, -0/+14I like your three rules sister. May I use them as the nucleus for an article?

- Striker101, on 11/23/2008, -0/+13Judge Gray's website is very well done, abundant source links, and quite unlike what one might expect from such a website. Go there when you have some time to invest in some good thinking.
- redcolumbine, on 11/24/2008, -0/+12Very well said, clear and easy to understand. Worth a listen.

Definitely a more up-to-date liberty candidate. - brandonchicago, on 11/24/2008, -0/+7The money we spend on the "war on drugs":
http://www.drugsense.org/wodclock.htm - inactive, on 11/24/2008, -0/+6Prohibition has very little, if anything, to do with supply side economics. What's happening is the failure of alcohol prohibition is being repeated with other drugs, and now hopefully this fiscal ***** will lead to the end of drug prohibition, just as the last fiscal ***** led to the end of booze prohibition back then. But remember, history tells us it's not about freedom, it's about government revenue, whether or not government school history books tend to admit the truth.
- inactive, on 11/24/2008, -0/+6Same with Al Gore and global warming, anything the government wants to fix for you means they will not actually fix it, but they will use more of you tax dollars to maintain the problem at an acceptable level, forever.
- sgiffy, on 11/23/2008, -1/+6Do you really think this is a shocking thing to hear for most digg users?
- nelsonwinters, on 11/24/2008, -0/+5I agree with your logic and wish we the government would declare
1. War on Peace
2. War on Prosperity
3. War on Freedom
http://www.campaignforliberty.com - BlindDefender, on 11/25/2008, -0/+5My above statement has nothing to do with money, fiscal policy, or cluster-***** (slang I guess). I was making abstract reference to basic economic principles of supply and demand.
The economy is Drugs. There is a supply side and a demand side in all economies. By attempting to limit the supply of drugs, the US government is trying to alter this economic system by limiting the "supply," while virtually ignoring the "demand." Supply (drug importers) will always find a way to meet demand (drug addicts.) However, if there is no demand, the suppliers will go away.
In short, treat the addicts and the drug economy will dissolve. - inactive, on 11/24/2008, -0/+5Cannabis, overall, is the number one cash crop in the entire US.
Think about it, high quality dro' is $350 an ounce where I'm at. What other cash crop is that value? - inactive, on 11/24/2008, -0/+4What an excellent idea!
And even though he expresses no interest, can I suggest Walter Williams as his VP? What a ticket that would be with either man in the top slot, and finally the SOCIAL kind of conservatives would have to hold THEIR noses & vote libertarian-conservative for once. My nose got tired of being held years ago, and I suspect others are with me by now considering Bush's spending-disaster. - BlindDefender, on 11/24/2008, -1/+4In my opinion...Another supply side economic failure. The only way to stop something-anything-from being used is to decrease demand.
- 911infowarrior, on 12/05/2008, -0/+3Replace the Department of Defence with the Department of Peace!
- inactive, on 11/24/2008, -1/+3Queue the War on Drugs sympathizers.
- FacingTheSharks, on 11/24/2008, -0/+2That's also why we're in a financial crisis. They declared war on poverty and created Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, but of course, it was to deliberately create a financial crisis so the sheep in America will be led to believe the government's plan is best for us...let the government buy out the mortgages (there goes more rights). Let the government give you handouts (there goes more rights). Let the government handle your health care....etc.
