- ikbrooks, on 05/03/2008, -2/+11Smoked her like the ignorant little child she is. Cannot argue with the facts especially with the facts from someone who has lived it. She came off as a "little girl" when she laughed at the question he asked. You can tell she was uncomfortable. Uncomfortable because she was unprepared to deal with the big kids. All her theory and make love not war garbage was exposed as the sand it is and was blown away in the face of truth. This is powerful!
- thotpoizn, on 05/04/2008, -1/+6Damn, that was harsh! "That's his question, it's real simple Andrea." Beautiful, that was just beautiful. "You're not answering the question, little girl!" Holy cow, she got seriously pwned.

He was also absolutely right. I have not a single doubt in my mind that Iraq is better off and will be much better in the long term since our intervention. And even for those people that did not agree with us in going to war with Iraq, you should at the very least understand that we did indeed go to war and there is nothing that can be done to change that. If we leave Iraq without properly securing and advising its people then it will be a much bigger mess than you can even imagine; if you have a problem with the way things are going in Iraq now, you can be sure that they will be one thousand times worse with a hasty withdrawal of our troops as Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton both want to do.
If you want to end the war right now: Think of the innocent Iraqi people and what is going to happen to them without us.- obliviousfool, on 05/04/2008, -2/+2Our intervention?! We invented Saddam. We sold him weapons during the Iran/Iraq war. We sold him the helicopters he used to gas the kurds. We bought his oil for decades. We told him we didn't have an opinion on his border dispute with Kuwait.
Your post is ***** revisionist history. It's like saying that the borders of Iraq that were created by the intervention of the British are super awesome because without them these different ethnic groups wouldn't have had a chance to be a loving nation together.
Yeah, we are there and lets move forward, but let's not slather lipstick on the pig of history. Our intervention in the middle east is not a proud or brief history. It doesn't begin in 2003, and it didn't end with Saddam.
Our intervention?! Puh-lease. Western intervention created the mess that is Iraq, and our addiction to oil kept it healthy. Believe it or not, whole nations exist and continue to exist without "our intervention." Please go get a clue.

- josefloeffler, on 05/04/2008, -0/+1It's so funny because, as anyone would reasonably understand, there are great reasons why the idea of war is bad, but in certain cases, when the rule of law has failed, it is the best alternative available. My favorite part is that the man who was going to defend both Ms. Buffa's freedoms and Mohammed's freedoms was trying to moderate the conversation, although he represents the one who would likely pay the greatest price of all. All I would like to say is thank you to that radio host for letting me, and my children, and their children be.
