  • czhe, on 06/01/2008, -1/+5In my honest opinion, one of the most important and yet difficult things is to stay calm. Only in this state can you think properly, and thinking will maximize your chance of survival.

    I've only been in much less severe situations, but I can tell you right now that achieving something like that is incredibly difficult. I can't even imagine what I would do with death staring me in the face.

    Hurricanes and Tsunamis attack limited coastal areas, but almost half the world's people live close to the ocean. Tornadoes can strike places they are not typically known to stirke. Earthquakes are very widespread.

    "Terrorist attacks" don't count, as they're exceptionally rare.

    And, is there a place in the entire world that has never seen war?
