Contrary to some beliefs the over worked and tired officer doesn't care about how mad your parents/husband/wife or dog will be or about your insurance premiums. Remember he goes back to his car to write the ticket. He can't hear you whimpering from there.

The Jews acted exactly this way, and the police just shuffled them right on a train and right into the 'showers'. The cops will do the same... shuffle you right into some handcuffs, into the back of a police car, and then into a cell where you can be stripped and beaten at their leisure out of sight.
From playing numerous, numerous simulations, I can tell you one thing for sure... always immediately, as fast as you can, turn and face your attacker. I believe its called "Boelcke's Law" and goes back to WW1 aerial warfare, and it makes a lot of sense. You're priority should be to turn to face your attacker, but since he's already on your tail, and you're in a car and not an airplane, this puts you at an advantage for two reasons. One, the back part of your car contains nothing vital save the gas tank, and is the ideal part of the car you want to always use for ramming. Two, most police expect this sheepish pussy behaviour, and will be completly offguard from your attack, but just like the movie Braveheart... you have to hold... hold... hold... now at the right moment. Lock your doors, pull over, and wait for him to exit his car, watching him closely in your rear view mirrors. As he comes to stand right next to your window and tap on it, turn your right arm back over the seat, slam your car into reverse, and plow into the front of his cruiser with the back of your car, preferably in a manner so you aim is to push it into a ditch or over a guard rail. You should chose where you stop carefully for that reason before hand. If exectued correctly, you can F* up his radiator and steering, though it may take several blows... and may even take out his ability to drive it.
However, after hitting his car with the first blow, you are in prime position to take him out. He's now on foot right in front of you, and you're in a car.. which is a deadly weapon. He's probably scrambling for his revolver or has no idea what's going on. Slam the car into first and plow right over his soft mushy body, ducking down for cover to the right side of the steering wheel. Enemy dead. You may then continue about your business. If your plates are legit, time to ditch the car and your identity for a while perhaps as well, because he's already radioed them in... remember, we live in a surveillance police state society.
Always, their biggest weapon is their radio, which they use to call in more police to swarm a scene. You should never travel without some wide spread spectrum jamming equipment on board to jam their communications whenever possible at the sign of trouble. A wide spectrum promiscious trasmitter connected to a white noise generator for signal. Hook up with some Ham Buddies, they'll put you on the right track.
You can cooperate and leave your fates to the corrupt courts and a public defender (bahahah cough sputter good luck with that one...). Or you can go out fighting. Some of us perfer to go out fighting.
