- ShugNinx21, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Hydrogen Peroxide is used in glow sticks to help create the chemical reaction that produces light. So, obviously he used half of the mixture of a glow stick and then added H2O2 and baking soda to emulate the other half of the chemical compund found in a glow stick.

While they zoom in on the baking soda(00:36) they switch bottles you can even see his hand move back as they cut back to it. Judging by the label, the bottle is all of a sudden facing the other way when it pans back also.

50 milliliters of hydrogen peroxide
.2 grams of luminol
4 grams of sodium carbonate
.5 gram of ammonium carbonate
.4 gram of copper sulfate pentahydrate

Next time throw in a small chunk of dry ice, cap it off, and shake it real good for about a minute. It'll really glow then! ;)
