How Duct Tape is Made watch!

youtube.com — One of the most ubiquitous and multi-faceted manufactured items known to civilization (not to mention MacGyver), from good NAM member 3M , here is a very entertaining three and a half-minute video of duct tape being made. The narrator alone is worth the price of admission, he's quite a character.

One of my favs was when he made the van a rear steering vehicle. Or when he made a keg run a hose through a freezer so that the beer would come out chilled. Hilarity ensues...
    • vivisector, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The best skit ever was the handyman corner where he made a "fancy" mid engine sports car out of a Lincoln. Instead of moving the engine to the middle he just added some plywood and duct tape to the front and added about 10 feet.

  • quanta88, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I've been to that 3M building in London. It's a factory in a giant park on the north side of London. Didn't get to see the shop floor, but did have a chance to buy a few rolls for pennies at their company store.

First London was dugg a couple of weeks ago for being the first city in Ontario to give segways to police / postal workers, and now this. London seems to be more active than I originally thought.

    Red Green is on the CBC and the Comedy Network here in Canada, I like the show, the movies he does are good too, if not stupid, but funny all the same.

    Unfortunately, exaggeration in the summary can sometimes lead to saying something totally wrong.

    @eschompthis: Thats not his real voice. He does it for the show. When you go to the recording of the show (I've been many times) he talks normally to the audience.
