- inactive, on 03/20/2008, -4/+29This is amazing.. I am 10 minutes in and am fascinated. Thanks a bunch!
- DeFex, on 03/20/2008, -7/+29I think i know what he was saying to those puppies:
Some men hunt for sport,
Others hunt for food,
The only thing I'm hunting for,
Is an outfit that looks good...
See my vest, see my vest,
Made from real gorilla chest,
Feel this sweater, there's no better,
Than authentic Irish setter. - Tuto, on 03/20/2008, -1/+18I love these Nazi documents. Watching them makes you feel surreal, because its so unbelievable that his happened only 70 years ago. Then again its pretty scary thinking that humans as a race haven't changed at all even though many would like to convince themselves otherwise.
- chrisbosh123, on 03/20/2008, -1/+17He was one of the greatest leaders with one of the worst ideas.
- AudiaGirl, on 03/20/2008, -1/+16I saw this on the History Channel a few days ago. I thought it was extremely interesting.
- jack222, on 03/20/2008, -1/+15I think you missed a word in your comment....at least I hope so...
- inactive, on 03/20/2008, -0/+11I don't care how old this is, I never seen it before and found it very interesting.
- norbiu, on 03/20/2008, -2/+12OMG Steve Jobs is HITLER! Forward to 23:45
- hixxy, on 03/20/2008, -1/+10Why is there a random PC vs. Mac add right in the middle..?
- CJMac, on 03/20/2008, -2/+10What difference does it make?
- Kornstalx, on 03/20/2008, -3/+9Best part is when Hitler says "Oh, my arm," then shakes the magnifying glass in mocking frustration.
- flipmeat, on 03/20/2008, -0/+5Save yourself some time and watch the last 15 minutes, where you actually hear what he was saying. The rest of the show tries to show how fancy the tech is - but you can see the Apple DVD Player pop up while the actor pretends to be using the 'software'.
- beankitty, on 03/20/2008, -3/+8Thanks for contributing!
- Bots, on 03/20/2008, -0/+3It was actually a pretty interesting watch. It's still quite surreal that all these things happened not so long ago.
- inactive, on 03/20/2008, -0/+3The other idiot covered this in the first comment, why not just go on to the next article, bury this one, and be on your way if thats how you feel
- crashbang, on 03/21/2008, -1/+4They talk about how trivial this stuff is in the documentary. I find it fascinating. The image of Hitler is similar to the image of Gandhi or George Washington. They exist in a meta-life where they represent more than just a physical person. They represent a notion, say like in Hitler's case of evil embodied. In a way, it brings him down a notch or two.
- matu4251, on 03/20/2008, -0/+3yeah, they should read digg instead!
- tommyredcoat, on 03/20/2008, -1/+4Thank you Monty
- Gunite, on 03/20/2008, -0/+3Hearing his non-theatrical voice was quite interesting. The rest is very drawn out.
- NanoStuff, on 03/21/2008, -1/+3"one of the worst ideas."
Wouldn't be saying that if he won. People are malleable. - poogtastik, on 03/21/2008, -0/+2It's a language issue, actually. Today "film" can be a verb referring to capturing moving pictures regardless of the medium. Similarly "video" can refer to an actual tape, a flash embedded digital recording, or even a movie, once again regardless of the medium.
Your observations are indeed correct. A Film is technically just "film", and "video" is technically just the tape medium. But many movies today are shot digitally, and thus are not "filmed" at all. Would you call these "videos" and not "films"?
Language changes with culture and time. Get used to it. - Stryder81, on 03/21/2008, -0/+2Amazing what you can do with computers these days...
- staffa, on 03/20/2008, -1/+3He was a nearly successful leader with a really bad idea. I like to think great leaders by definition have great ideas.
- spony99, on 03/20/2008, -0/+2very interesting, not only the uncovered home videos of hitler but also the voice recognition technology
- 2bees, on 03/20/2008, -3/+5You're right about the human race not changing. Especially when you take into consideration the blind adulation of Obama. Not healthy at all.
- Maver1c, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1I think you a missing a 'not' in there...
- drizzlelicious, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1Liiiiikkeee myyy loafers former gophers, it was that or skin my chauffeurs
- BriscoeJr, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1seeeeee my loafers.
former.
gofers. - blackbeardtron, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1Now that's what I call a sticky situation!
- Noodleson, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1if you want to skip all the technology stuff, go to 31:45
- jmanfivek, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1I thought this video was fascinating. The ALR tech seems to be really efficient but I think the deaf software operator helps a lot :) . And to be honest, this gives me a perspective on Hitler the man, and his close circle, that I've never seen before. Thanks for the link.
- threemagic, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1So if I kick your ass and take your house.. it's mine?
- sicntired, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1good old uncle Adolph.Such a kind and caring man.Too bad he got all strung out on smack and tried to take over the world. We all have our little flaws.
- andergriff, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1Very well done. Add this book to this film to get an even clearer picture of Hitler:
http://tinyurl.com/yqnwk9 - laserblazer, on 03/20/2008, -3/+3The All-Hitler Channel?
- bugsy187, on 03/21/2008, -1/+1and why isn't this on the front page?

- threemagic, on 03/20/2008, -1/+1I bet the Native Americans would beg to differ... but you wouldn't listen because you speak with blind hatred and without an ounce of intelligence
- eddy23170, on 03/20/2008, -2/+2these people have a lot of time on their hands....still fascinating though
- Spartandog, on 03/21/2008, -0/+0Am I being dugg down for trying to correct this glaring error? It's frustrating, as a filmmaker that people are no longer making a distinction between film and video. Television cameras (recording onto tape) were not made available for private use till the 70's. 16mm and 35mm film were widely available from the 1920's on.
To be fair, the guys on Digg are mostly young and probably never lived through the time when there was a huge difference between television recording and motion picture film. - Paulish, on 03/21/2008, -2/+1Greatest leader? No. Greatest Manipulator? Undoubtedly.
- RAEP, on 03/20/2008, -2/+1KRose loev Hitler!
- frostbyt, on 03/20/2008, -2/+1Let us reclaim what is ours! *Psst* What are we reclaiming again?
- raid517, on 03/21/2008, -3/+2Hitler ate my hamster...
I've never felt the same about him since. - ICANSTANDIT, on 03/20/2008, -2/+1Those who believe they can not be duped will soon fall prey to more of the same. It's all about propaganda and those people back then were experts at it. Now, take that into context with what we have here now.
In the world of the Blind, the One-eyed Man shall be King! - Mercyblue, on 03/20/2008, -1/+0This was really interesting. I needed to gain back the IQ points I lost watching two minutes of the Baconator Challenge video.
- poponegra, on 03/20/2008, -3/+2Have you been cheese nachos?
Well, then sex, draft beer, mile-high-club, chicken wings
If hockey, jungle sex, three-way
You could sex, cars, giant breasts. - inactive, on 03/20/2008, -1/+0Help me out. I hate not getting jokes.
- supermanred, on 03/20/2008, -2/+1And don't forget Hitler's appearances in comics through the years, the first of course being Captain America #1.
