- Barackalypse, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4Frankly I don't think even Washington DC can contain the amount of sheer deluded loony that's coming to his inauguration. I'm not a physicist, but the very nature of reality itself could be irreparably shattered.
- KibblesnBitts, on 01/07/2009, -0/+3I go to school in DC.....camping out the night before. I couldn't get a ticket even though I'm fortunate enough to do bitchwork - interning for one of my senators.....regardless, we were given a huge email stating that we are not allowed to make any money off of renting out our dorms for the inauguration
It's going to be an interesting week - attackc0de, on 01/06/2009, -1/+4These kids should be in school. Not at some silly speech made by a barely-elected democrat.
- davidmesaaz, on 01/15/2009, -0/+3Lets hope that Obama won't eliminate federal funding that sends poor black kids to Sidwell. Which is the same elite private schools that that Obama sends his own children to. Obama originally approved of vouchers and charter schools. but Obama backpedaled when he received a 50 million dollar in contributions to the Obama campaign.

" Ticket to President-elect Barack Obama's Inagural Parade *****! "
Hope I get it! - gotcheaprice, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2My school, Punahou, was able to get our marching band and ROTC get to march in the parade which is pretty cool, but I heard it was crazy expensive and they had to pay for it themselves.
- vt007ken, on 01/17/2009, -0/+2Everyone seems to overlook the fact that this is a reward for students who do well in school.. who learn... who are trying to get an education. Despite the fact that any of you reject WHAT their prize is (I reject it too) the point is that the kids have an incentive for which they find value in being educated. At least appreciate that.
