  • WordsnCollision, on 01/05/2008, -0/+3I find it intensely frustrating that my son has to spend hundreds of $ on new texts every year, and can't sell his previous year's texts because they're "out of date". It smacks of a mutual back-scratching scheme between the publishers and the colleges, and if so then they'd be very resistant to the e-books concept.

  • gbarberi, on 01/06/2008, -0/+1The "edition system" was not made with the best interests of the students in mind. It was made with profits in mind. Did you know that some changes between textbook editions can be as small and insignificant as a few words changed around?
  • andywhere, on 01/05/2008, -1/+0Why not buy textbooks from online bookstore and save money? I get 2 textbooks from a online bookstore and save me more than $250. All the textbooks there are BRAND NEW. That’s great. You may visit the bookstore to see any help.
