- houstonrally, on 03/17/2008, -2/+74This is exactly like Operation Freakout in the 70s. Court documented evidence that neither the CoS or the government disagreed with that the CoS set up Paulette Cooper with fake bomb threats.
Anonymous is getting Fair Game'd - spawnske, on 03/17/2008, -1/+70Disguisting act by Co$. typical dirty tricks they are playing yet AGAIN! www.xenu.net
- SgtAl, on 03/17/2008, -2/+47This is only the tip of the iceberg of what the con-cult will do. Once they start to target individual Anons its really going to heat up. They will target them at their homes, jobs, anywhere they can.
- inactive, on 03/17/2008, -27/+64http://www.anonymousexposed.org/
- xenupublic, on 03/17/2008, -0/+29FYI The Co$ has a video production company called Golden Era Productions. The lens flare and earth shot are part of a very popular library of AE filters and stock footage. They have a major fascination for lens flares and earth shots. Also the script is very similar to CoS' other internal videos. Very cheesy and to the point and Anonymous has never claimed to be a terrorist organization. That video is the only video that has mentioned any form of terrorist attack. I bet anything that all of the source files for that video can be found inside of Golden Era's production facility.
- FreedomToThink, on 03/17/2008, -0/+23There were already some anon's very shortly after 2/10 who say they've been pressured out of their jobs by Sci slander.
the more ppl join, the less this ***** can happen - inactive, on 03/17/2008, -1/+22These people are the lowest. They are making up things to elicit pity from the public and make themselves seem like eternal martyrs while they cleverly go about robbing society blind with the other hand. Scientology and their global tentacles expanding throughout the world should be our greatest focus. I personally think it is a healthy obsession. The more time we spend dealing with and thinking and talking about this problem the better.
- Lax32, on 03/17/2008, -1/+22Maybe they should take some of the money they steal from their members and invest it into some Video Professor movies so John Scherer teach them how to become masters of the interweb.
- pauleric, on 03/17/2008, -0/+19This is a very poorly written story...but I think this is what he's saying: there was a youtube video posted, claiming to be from anonymous, which made a bomb threat. And the CoS submitted a DVD of the same video in court. But the DVD is high quality and Youtube is low quality, so how could they have gotten that DVD off of Youtube? They couldn't. So CoS must have faked the whole thing.
- inactive, on 03/17/2008, -0/+18ARE U SINGLE AND FEMALE????? I'M LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH SIMILAR POSTING SKILLS AND KNOWS HOW TO USE THE WORDS "*****" AND "*****" IN A SENTENCE!!!!
- mannymix03, on 03/17/2008, -0/+18Bring it on Scientologists, at my local protest i saw your photographer take pictures of my face, find me and try and ruin my life. You won't like it when we bring the fight to your front door, and use the tactics that you use against you.
- hypodan, on 03/17/2008, -2/+20That's a pretty classy rick roll, Props to you.
- wesw02, on 03/17/2008, -0/+17This sounds about like the workings of a ....... cult!
- inactive, on 03/17/2008, -2/+19Why don't the Scientologists drink their damned kook-aide like the rest of the cultists???
- toomanytuxedos, on 03/17/2008, -0/+17Freedom of religion applies to religions. Not cults.
- Mick619, on 03/17/2008, -0/+17Something that doesn't involve Tom Cruise running around humming the mission impossible theme
- mockupscaledown, on 03/17/2008, -1/+18This picture is all over the internet, though. This video proves that they didn't use the .flv from YouTube as the source, but proving the source of the .flv is quite a logical leap of faith.
http://www.fabuloussavers.com/wallpapers/320s.jpg - inactive, on 03/17/2008, -0/+16The difference is that this time, there's already a giant ***** of bad publicity against the church of scientology just waiting to fall over on top of them the very moment they touch an individual who associates him or herself in any way with "anonymous".
This is the kind of thing that really makes its own gravy. You can bet your ass that anything the church does (and has done since this anoymous campaign started) is scrutinized sharply by at least dozens of thousands of people.
There are those of us on the sidelines of this latest battle who are convinced that direct contact between scientology and indivual people who are working for "anonymous" ends is inevitable, and that at minimum the first few will feel the heat worse than almost any non-scientologist in history---but it is hoped that they'll understand that no matter how it seems, the following is always true about the church of scientology:
They use smoke and mirrors for everything.
Unless you're in Clearwater, you can rest almost completely assured that by behaving like a rational, mature adult, you will quickly rise above anything that scientology can throw at you.
So no worries, be at peace...and push. - inactive, on 03/17/2008, -0/+16***** win. sorry i dugg you down, first impression
- cyrix, on 03/17/2008, -0/+14Any source on this? I'm not questioning the validity of your statement, I just want to read more about this.
- AnonymousLRH, on 03/17/2008, -0/+14"If attacked on some vulnerable point by anyone or anything or any organization, always find or manufacture enough threat against them..."
-L. Ron Hubbard
Raise your voices, people. It is absolutely outrageous that the Church of Scientology would manufacture such a threat and waste the time and effort of those who aim to keep us safe. Contact the media, get this story out there! - jbhannah, on 03/17/2008, -0/+14"Anonymous is getting Fair Game'd" – I'd say that that's proof that it's working. CoS is shooting at air, the empty space above the suit of Anonymous where its head should be.
- evilbunnys2, on 03/17/2008, -1/+15Footbullet
- theskillwithin, on 03/17/2008, -1/+13haha
- prisoner24601, on 03/17/2008, -0/+11I was angry with Scientology at the beginning, but their unspeakably unjustified "martyr complex" response has truly made be disgusted at all they stand for. The way they've been pulling out their "first they came for the Scientologists, but I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Scientologist" perverted "we are victims of a hate crime" defense PR spin to this is beyond repugnant.
No one, NO ONE!!! is saying that Scientologists cannot believe whatever they want to, worship Lafayette Ronald Hubbard personally as god if they want to, or consider "Green Eggs and Ham" to be sacred scripture if they want to. What we are saying is that NO religion should EVER be permitted to hide their "scripture" behind copyright law the way Scientology does and still be tax exempt. No religion should ever be permitted to selectively educate based on ability to pay the way scientology does an still be tax exempt.
If the IRS revoked their tax-exempt status and these guys decided to continue teaching the same nonsense (like the Free-Zoners) we would ALL leave them alone to enjoy their insanity in peace. But their infiltration of the IRS and COMPLETLEY unmerited tax-exempt status DEMAND action! - Syphon0928, on 03/17/2008, -0/+10Because the Kool-Aid man joined Anon & wont provide CoS with some deliciousness. CoS now has to depend on Tang.
- rancidpony, on 03/17/2008, -0/+9One report from an Aussie. You'll have to wait for www.enturbulation.org to become available again for details.
- inactive, on 03/17/2008, -0/+8It's Scient-Tang (tm) and costs $1500 a glass.
And it makes you cut off your earlobes like Tom Cruise did. (True! Compare him in early days with now! How creepy can you get?) - coolwalking, on 03/17/2008, -0/+8You'd think they could come up with some new material in 30-odd years...
- mark076h, on 03/17/2008, -1/+9just something else brewing in the crock of ***** that $cientology is
- inactive, on 03/17/2008, -0/+8It's more of an organized crime syndicate than a religion but I don't mean to split hairs here. I can't stand any 'organized' religion, but I won't let that get in the way of a reasonably educated response to your incredibly stupid post.
- Ubermann, on 03/17/2008, -0/+8HOW can Scientology have ANY credibility???? They brought us Xenu and the Alien Body Thetans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For *****'s sake! - peestandingup, on 03/17/2008, -0/+7Pretend for a moment that everyone doesn't stay current with the ongoing Anonymous VS Scientology war.
What the ***** am I looking at here?? - raydeen, on 03/17/2008, -0/+7Fake bomb threats? Well, what do you expect from a fake religion? It's good to see the bastards are running scared. And from a non-violent group no less. The Writing is on The Wall. Goodbye CoS. You're only making yourselves look more foolish than you already are and doing a better job of discrediting yourselves than any of us could. Good show.
- kmb1794, on 03/17/2008, -3/+10what exactly is a fake bomb threat?
- inactive, on 03/17/2008, -1/+8Cults are not religions.
- Peynis, on 03/17/2008, -0/+7And illegal.
Falsified evidence, anyone?
Even if the original video was not created by Scientology, it's still not allowed to edit or re-create it to "impress the courts more" - FizzanoMatrix, on 03/17/2008, -2/+8They could have possible used roto-scoping to edit the film in Adobe Premiere on a Gentoo platform, but highly unlikely. Clear evidence of a registry hack.
- zplot, on 03/17/2008, -1/+7I recall their DVD mentioning a bomb threat video, in which the robotic voice applied was the same voice only applied previously in an anti-anonymous video, not an anti-Scientology video. This immediately caused me to suspect a setup, although robotic voices could not prove anything. The above video, however, removes all doubt as to their phony accusations against Anons.
- inactive, on 03/17/2008, -1/+7OK, but why would they clean up every frame of every image to make a high quality video for the court? Wouldn't they just submit the actual evidence, versus doctored evidence? If the evidence were real, they would have no reason to doctor it.
- stellandfly, on 03/17/2008, -1/+7These people and their fake religion need to be buried. The recent string of underhanded tactics aimed at defaming Anonymous proves that COS is really feeling the heat.
- spudnic, on 03/17/2008, -0/+6A bomb threat with no actual intention, or bomb, to follow it through?
Which I suppose makes this a fake fake bomb threat really.. - ju66l3r, on 03/17/2008, -1/+6You only have to look at the definition of the colors between the ray spikes to see the difference between a pixelated version that's been dressed up vs. a high-def version.
- jordan314, on 03/17/2008, -2/+7Ok I'm no fan of scientology and don't doubt that they would post false attacks on themselves to aid their horrendous litigious tactics, but just to play devil's advocate, it's pretty easy to clean up a pixelated image. I selected a square of the 'pixelated rough image' from the youtube comparison, blurred it by 3 pixels, and brightened the levels:
http://img176.imageshack.us/my.php?image=easyblurr ...
Now which one looks better? - lead2thehead, on 03/17/2008, -3/+8I'm no psychiatrist, but if you read a science fiction novel and start confusing it with real life, doesn't that make you a schizophrenic?
- ju66l3r, on 03/17/2008, -0/+5Scientology submitted "bomb threats" as part of their claims against Anonymous in court.
Their evidence is supposedly a video (flv) file they took from YouTube containing an audio threat from a member of Anonymous. In reality, it is instead a high resolution image with an audio track dubbed on top. The level of resolution in their "evidence" is better than anything they could have taken from YouTube, thus they manufactured it on their own and are lying about receiving it from anyone in Anonymous. - erkokite, on 03/17/2008, -1/+6A bomb threat that is fake.
- BossHat, on 03/17/2008, -1/+6Wait... wait.... this comes from The Goons. Have The Goons joined up with Anonymous?!?
Because, if so, look out! The Goons have shown some fantastic technical and media skills in the past. - dtfinch, on 03/17/2008, -1/+5You forget that the enemy is always wrong, even when they're right. If you disagree, you're a sympathizer.
There's no added sharpness in the cult's version, and the artifacts on the left are from bilinear resizing. - stupidStan, on 03/17/2008, -2/+6Considering there are at least 10 anon vs cos stories posted on the front page each day lately, I would say you should go somewhere else for your news. It would likely be easier than getting 1000s of people to agree with you by writing caps lock comments.
