- fugazied, on 10/27/2007, -4/+103Captain Obvious on this one. Ron Paul is the only classical conservative. The rest are neo-cons that would continue to sell the US to the highest bidding corporation.
- elshizzo, on 10/10/2007, -7/+76duhhhhh moment, what did you think he was going to say, Rudy Guilani?
- mrASSMAN, on 10/20/2007, -11/+44Well obviously he's the best of the republican party, but is he the best candidate of the election? That's the question (for me anyways).
- NikoKun, on 10/10/2007, -0/+31Don'tcha just love how that one guy says "I told our producers you'd say that." As if they were trying to avoid asking the question... -_- stupid mainstream media...
- kinerry, on 10/10/2007, -1/+30"I told our producers"
What the ***** is that suppose to mean? I think he just exposed the censorship on live TV - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -8/+36ron paul will be president
- rephil513, on 10/10/2007, -7/+34It's a bury brigade battle royale (on both sides, albiet;)
Let's see who's winning...
Vote Ron Paul in 08'! - Spuy767, on 10/20/2007, -16/+41Look at the competition. If you don't think that Ron Paul is the best out of them all, you may want to re-evaluate your priorities. Ron Paul is the only candidate who represents actual change. The rest are just pandering their demographic du jour.
- Ghoztt, on 10/10/2007, -1/+26I am a great supporter of the plans that Ron Paul has to turn this country around. Ah... to return to a non-subsidized free marketplace... what a thought! Re-instate the Constitution and Habeas-Corpus. Go Ron Paul :)
- Ebacherville, on 10/10/2007, -3/+27RON PAUL REVOLUTION even the dems and libritarians agree!!
- rootfiend, on 10/10/2007, -3/+23He's not just the best republican, he's the best candidate period.
- mrASSMAN, on 10/10/2007, -4/+24That doesn't make any sense.. this is video and audio evidence that bill maher thinks ron paul is the best candidate.. can't exactly deny what you just witnessed to be true..
- chicoer2001, on 10/10/2007, -17/+37Oh wow. A libertarian supporting the most libertarian GOP candidate. Stop the presses!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -11/+29you mean hillary?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+18I'm starting to realize that a candidate that actually represents the people has a chance. It's becoming real. The thought is exciting whilst strangely a little frightening.
--The world is changing - billbacon, on 10/10/2007, -7/+24He's better than a bucket of ***** for president too!
- thecoolestguy, on 10/10/2007, -3/+20Go Ron Paul. Save America from bankruptcy!

Here is Ron Paul talking about the coming economic collapse on the The Korelin Economics Report. RP is the only candidate who really understand the economy and the problems it faces:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRmZphe50qQ - Magillicutti, on 10/10/2007, -7/+23Against the dems? Kucinich and Gravel are pandering their demographic and don't represent actual change? You've gotta be effin kidding.
- colincornaby, on 10/10/2007, -18/+34Ron Paul is the least worst Republican canidate! Yay!
- Magillicutti, on 10/10/2007, -2/+17Why not bury as spam? At least that MIGHT make some ***** sense. Saying this is inaccurate is inaccurate.
and retarded. - blankoboy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14I have the following fears:
- Regardless of how popular Ron Paul may get the neo-cons will simply cheat at the polls and he will lose (like this hasn't happened before).
- Ron Paul gets assassinated for trying to save the country. JFK part 2. If that were to happen the only logical recourse would be a full out revolution (if people can pry their butts of their lazyboys).
I truly feel that Ron Paul (and to a lesser extent Mike Gravel) is the man to save this country. The majority of the other candidates appear as slimy used car salesmen (think Bill Paxton in True Lies) on the stage.....especially Guliani. - BakedGoods, on 10/10/2007, -2/+14SantaClauz, you're an idiot.
- Jaynix, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12Hey, at least they're talking about something important. It doesn't matter what Maher thinks, but that doesn't mean the information he shares doesn't matter.
There are probably a lot republicans or others out there who wouldn't have known that Ron Paul is the only republican against the war if it wasn't for this little clip. I'd be willing to bet that more people know more about the current OJ Simpson situation. - tehtopher, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Look at Ron Paul's "traditional pattern" of voting. You'll see that's he's at least being consistent with his 10 terms as a Congressman.
- Bamborzled, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9"They all say things before the election, none of which they mean. A traditional candidate will fall into the traditional patterns the second they are elected."
I completely agree. I think Ron Paul is guilty of doing ju--wait, what?
Saying Kucinich and Gravel are traditional is like saying Oprah-ism is a mainstream religion. - mriegger, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9I'm just glad Wolf didn't gasp and exclaim "woah!" like the last time Ron Paul was endorsed on CNN
- thecoolestguy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8actually he is the only candidate who has tried to protect social security:
HON. RON PAUL OF TEXAS
IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
January 8, 2003
Introduction of the Social Security Preservation Act
Mr. PAUL. Mr. Speaker, I rise to protect the integrity of the Social Security trust fund by introducing the Social Security Preservation Act. The Social Security Preservation Act is a rather simple bill which states that all monies raised by the Social Security trust fund will be spent in payments to beneficiaries, with excess receipts invested in interest-bearing certificates of deposit. This will help keep Social Security trust fund monies from being diverted to other programs, as well as allow the fund to grow by providing for investment in interest-bearing instruments.
But you're right about him wanting to let young people opt out of the doomed system. - LeeJunFan, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Agreed, it's more than just lesser of 2 evils, he said Ron Paul was, "His new hero!"
- skyfire1, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Tell all of your friends on myspace what he's about.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Kucinich would end the war, but he'd still suppress our liberty. He voted for the flag desecration bill and his position on the 2nd amendment is deplorable.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7It's Ron Paul or another globalist Clinton. gl
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9You gotta say his name 3 times to summon him.
- Ebacherville, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7This country is screwed if we don't totally make a 180 and change our attitude.. We should protect our country and stay out of other peoples crap.. its the do one to other as you would want done to you.. As a nation we dont want other counttryied setting up bases here and sending bombing raid in every few years.. so why shuld we do this to countries like iraq or iran.. pretty simple but hard to follow apparently..
We have more nukes than any other country in the world and our "leader" is a crazy schmuck too, you don't see other countries trying to disarm us..
Wake Up America, before its to late - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7how can you say least worst?... he is the BEST CANDIDATE EVER TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT
Sheesh. - thecoolestguy, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9Oh no he believes in God! The founding fathers, including George Washington, frequently invoked religion and God. They were simply against government giving official status to any religion or church, like the way England officialized the Church of England.
- mtrip, on 10/10/2007, -3/+10Why should anyone give a damn what Wartyboskfapped thinks?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Well... Look at what happened at Waco, TX and what is currently happening to the Browns in New Hampshire... Don't you think it's important to be able to defend yourself, should any intruders move in on your territory?... Government or not, if someone tries to kill me I am going to defend myself. THAT is the second amendment. Your view is distorted because of silly stereotypes.
and BTW, Hitler and Stalin were in favor of gun control also. - GawtMilk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Whenever I hear about a new Candidate, the first thing I think of is "DAMN I CAN'T MAKE SENSE OF THIS *****! WHERE THE ***** IS BILL MAHER?". Now that I know his opinion, I can finally get some sleep at night.
- rootnik, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Video... I've seen clips with 15 diggs on the front page. Digg seems to want 3-4 videos on the front page.
- NeoRicen, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Now THAT'S stupid and nuts: He makes sense until he doesn't. Geez aren't you smart...
- Stochio, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6You've got it backwards. The point of voting isn't to pick who **you think** will be winner. Voting enables you to *determine* a winner.
- nakani, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Who needs to economics texts when we have dudeshaggydude??
- BrewBeau, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5You want to get rid of useless spending but you're upset he doesn't support the war?
- GawtMilk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Gravel helped end the Vietnam war, and declassify many secret documents. He is anti-Iraq. What makes you think this time around it'll be any different?
- JigoroKano, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6A man that admittedly doesn't have a 7th grade understanding of science?
- Ebacherville, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8Thats the problem there all to stupid to understand that forcing you to pay taxes with threats of violence and jail time is slavery.. like the mob , pay up or its cement shoes for you...
Helping less fortunate is great but let me decide what less fortunate people i support through charities etc.. I donate ever pay check to charities if i got all that federal tax money back i could afford to do a lot more for charities and pay for my health care with no problem.
No one has the right to force me to send my money to anyone it my choice ... unless of cource its slavery.. then its not my choice and will be punished if i don't comply.
Idont see how people cant understand this principle of taxation on your labor being slavery.. its quite simple.
But when you brainwashed for years its hard to shake all those years of brain wash crap.. Just like a abused child or wife.. - shig, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5I believe he spelled out why he supported Ron Paul in the video. To me it seemed very clear.
- wilkil69, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Yeah man last time I checked we were entitled to our own vote on who we best think should run the country, not who we think has the best chance at winning the election to run the country. If my vote goes to Dr. Paul and he doesn't win, then I wont think of it as throwing it away at all because I will have stated my opinion.
- ChineseRoom, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Your comment is right on the money, dugg. A choice between ron paul and the three front running dems would be too easy
- Scheissen, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5You make Social Security sound like a good thing.
