- ICSU, on 10/12/2007, -3/+83That music almost killed me.
- speedstream, on 10/12/2007, -2/+53Nobody ever follows these things through all the way to the maggots.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+48it would've been funny if the old man transformed into a corpse...
- antdude, on 10/12/2007, -2/+42Agreed. The man was speaking too. I wanted to hear that.
- bitt3n, on 10/12/2007, -2/+35I think the music is what aged him so fast.
- Rezzy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20I recommend muting.
- Twice, on 10/12/2007, -3/+17Did I just watch a reversed anti aging cream commercial?
- HaltingPoint, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14I think we can all agree the music blows. But does anybody know where other videos like this can be found? Reminds me of the opening scene in the Robin Williams movie Final Cut where they have the guy age in front of the bathroom mirror.
I'm really drawn to these types of videos as it is so interesting to see how we evolve physically as we age. - 4NDr01D, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14a woman would have aged that quickly in 20 seconds...
- Adamande, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12It's a norwegian tv-commercial for an insurance company. It's pretty neat but the added music ***** it up.
- mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12They stole a newborn baby from its mother in the year 1915 and locked him up naked in a white room for his entire life as they took a new picture every day of him opening his mouth to a different degree each time to eventually form words in the video composition. I should mention that they used state-of-the-art color cameras in the 1900's that were capable of producing high-quality images that the rest of us couldn't create until about a century later. They sacrificed this boy's life to making a commercial that would be displayed on a new invention called "television" (they anticipated it's future use in modern culture) a 100 years later. They had finally finished the film last year when the boy died of chronic depression at the age of 85 and they were able to send the footage to an insurance company to use in a commercial in the year 2006. It is the heart-breaking story of a man deprived of his life in order to produce the commercial of a lifetime -- and you just witnessed it in 40 seconds.
You'll see the trailer for this movie in the near future and it will air in a theater near you. - olddirtycr, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7lol...
- theMurdocVolta, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Did anyone notice his eyes change color from teen- twenty's to mid 30's change from dark to a lighter color.
- Sedako, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6MORMON ALERT
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7I have always wanted to take a picture of somebody every day of their life and turn it into a movie. A guy can dream...
- OUChevelleSS, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Your link goes to an American Idol audition clip.
- unknownunknowns, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Believe it or not a comment on youtube was "real or fake pretty cool 4 stars" ...real or fake...yes. It's real...poor kid :'( Now he's an old man and he never got to enjoy his life.
/sigh - danielman94, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4That was interesting. That was cool, but grr, that music was stupid. I think it would have been better if they would have the person talking, so you could see how the voice changes.
- Johnsillyhead, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4THATS SO FAKE
/sarcasm - jexdawg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4***** your blogspam.
- dugR, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5that was so stupid, his eyes even changed color. and the face structure changed too much.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I just find it sort of sad that he never tried out a different hair style. I mean 85 yrs without once being curious what you would look like with different hair... impossible.
- Llanowar, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Maybe not all the way to the maggots, but getting close though
http://youtube.com/watch?v=5KemA5aXgbE - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Is this another youtube clip using Yakety Sax? haha.
- Dustgunner, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3He chose... poorly.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3They should have included conception and death.
- kingvar, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2moral of the story: get as much ----- as possible before your a wrinkled, shriveled up old man. time flies!
- pearmanjim, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2not seamless, the dudes side burns dissapear around the 30s area
- ravitek, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet... this is a banned xbox commercial showing someone age from birth to death
http://youtube.com/watch?v=uu8456pVSLI
Life is short, play more xbox
edit: Llanowar beat me to it - Septimus, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Getting old sucks.
- Apoc, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4You can also get a version without the music if you just turn the volume down.
EDIT: Mushk beat me, digg down. - Oxygen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Anyone else think he was looking a bit like Joe Lieberman for a minute there during the old man phase?
http://sbc.senate.gov/democrat/photos/large/lieberman.jpg - section31, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2looks like jimmy carter at the end.
- ashwin100, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Oh man that music is gonna be stuck in my head for the next hour or so.
- Stevethegreat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1How do you know?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1are you talking about life after death? because it has a "death" part in it in order to believe even that.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1pulling the plug of the matrix?
- AceTracer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Nifty, but it looks like they just morphed the faces of 4 people together.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1it seemed to work pretty well on his body
seemed like only his face aged, and only as far as the neck - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1ascending into heavens?
- wassim2k, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2It would have been nice to hear talking instead of that awful music. Baby (googoo-gaga), toddler (I want, I want, mwah!), kid (my mom hugs the mailman a lot), teen (I want to skydive naked), 20s (I know), 30s (It's time), 40s (finally), 50s (I want grandkids), 60s (rotten kids), 70s (hi doctor), 80s (what?), 90s (zzzz).
- Drwrong, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1^^ GEHY! but the video was done quite nicely
- Stevethegreat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Nope
- bitcloud, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1and nobody who fancies the idea of a "grim reality" ever follows the maggots through to their ecological continuation
(one man's decay is another's "miracle of life") - Stevethegreat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1How do you know where the technological explosion we currently reside in will lead us? Nanotechnology for one is a great promise for human health, as well, we just don't know for sure what its actual effects will be, yet, imagine what a tech explosion on that field can bring to us, it doesn't need much to be done, just a breakthrough on the nanomanufacturing is enough, it can come anyday.I'm not saying that any far-fetched theory will come true, I'm saying that with so many fields in development (nanotech, genetics, bioinformatics, etc.), even one of them to succeed in a way that it'll alter human biology in a prosperous way is enough to alter any plans we have made for our funeral.
Once again even if there are more than little possibilities for such things to come in fruition (I honestly don't know the odds), are enough for us not to be sure if we'll be or not the generation X - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1that crap you heard constantly on 90s movies "we're all gonna die"?
it's true. - peabody624, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Oh thank god, the baby at the beginning started moving to the music and I thought he was going to dance as he aged
- omnithought, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1yay for Acid loops
- Wamzlee, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2@drathosx3
"it would've been funny if the old man transformed into a corpse..."
If you want to see that final part, watch towards the end of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade after that guy drinks from the wrong cup. - sehzades, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0hi, i'm searching for a site or program which you can use to make you look older
thanks -
