In this video, we, Anonymous, define our plans to DISMANTLE the Church of Scientology and outline the reasons WHY WE FIGHT.

I give them credit for their ability to raise such enthusiasm in people, but the people who are going to these protests seem a bit more like non-conforming conformists - they care more about just being rebellious then in the actual objective of the protest.

If the curch of scientology broke laws, then RAISE MONEY AND TAKE IT TO THE COURTS. the biggest hit to them would be losing a court case which would ban their benifits. If what they are doing is really illegal, then you will have no problem winning.

      If something is unconstitutional, then you don't sit back and bitch about, or make pointless videos about it. you should take it to the courts, vote against it.

It would be nice if we lived in a world where your solution worked, but when you have a bunch of anonymous protesters against a rich and powerful organisation full of rich and powerful members, you have to find asymmetric ways to fight back. Scientology can out-lawsuit just about anyone, but they appear to be baffled entirely by Anon's strategy. Every time that uber-secretive cult sees another mound of embarrassing internal documents leaked, that's another nail in the coffin.         Some kids at my university are planning a "protest" on campus today. They're going to dress up in masks, presumably, and whatnot.
        Tell me, what is that going to accomplish? And who would benefit? I'd rather they focus their efforts toward something useful, like limiting wasteful tuition increases. Now that I could join/support.

They wish to bring awareness of the crimes and injustices that the CoS perpetrates and have those crimes and injustices addressed. So far they're doing a pretty good PR job, aren't they?
          Tuition increases? Sure. I'm sure some of them will be up in arms about that too, as many of them are still in education and it's a personal issue for them. Why would you rather they did one and not the other? Why can't they do both?

    Before I get dugg down into the abyss, I just want to be clear, I don't believe in religion either, but I would not, and will not openly attack someone because they do believe. I have a very simple philosophy in life:

    1) Why does "Anonymous" have such a hate on for scientology in particular....have they stated a position on their level of tolerance for other religious organizations?
    2) No one will ever take them seriously while they are "Anonymous". It's like finding a vulnerability in a product, telling the company, and then having them sue you for "hacking" them.
