Anonymous 3/14 PRESS RELEASE watch!
youtube.com — The "IDES OF MARCH" is almost upon us and tomorrow thousands of Anoymous Individuals will protest their disgust of the "Church" Scietology across the ENTIRE PLANET. In this video, we, Anonymous, define our plans to DISMANTLE the Church of Scientology and outline the reasons WHY WE FIGHT.

- str3ama, on 03/15/2008, -83/+31The usage of the Requiem for a Dream theme song makes this video cheesy. I give them credit for their ability to raise such enthusiasm in people, but the people who are going to these protests seem a bit more like non-conforming conformists - they care more about just being rebellious then in the actual objective of the protest.
- WillynLilly, on 03/15/2008, -11/+20Lol, dude you nailed it. They are fighting against an organization that preys on the emotions of people, and are doing so by playing on the emotions of people with that voice and the music behind it.
I always love how people dig down things that don't agree with what's posted, even when what's posted needs a little criticism.- solistus, on 03/16/2008, -0/+2People dig down things that don't agree with what they agree with. In this case, a lot of people are probably miffed by the claim that Anon protesters as a whole have no personal stake or interest in attacking Scientology. This isn't just some chic protest to some; it's a very real fight against a very dangerous entity.
- Ron247, on 03/15/2008, -5/+18maybe listen to the message and not the music? its just like people complaining about the robot voice....
- cheeseron, on 03/15/2008, -9/+2i thought that was the lord of the rings theme.
- finalfantasyIII, on 03/15/2008, -0/+2no, this isn't relevant to the topic and sorry for this comment, but..
Darren Aronofsky used it first. - DocTwaddle, on 03/15/2008, -0/+3The remix has been nicknamed "Requiem for a Tower" and was created by the music department of The Ant Farm, a trailer house that designed one of the trailers for LOTR: The Two Towers. The source material includes Lux Aeterna from Requiem for a Dream and original music designed by the trailer house .
- finalfantasyIII, on 03/15/2008, -0/+2no, this isn't relevant to the topic and sorry for this comment, but..
- esperoboy, on 03/15/2008, -5/+1I think it's from Sunshine
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0448134/- sittered, on 03/15/2008, -0/+5Nope, it's Clint Mansell's score from Requiem for a Dream, but the piece is used in movie trailers a lot for its generic sense of epic.
- c130commnav, on 03/15/2008, -7/+1sorry you are being dugg down, but you are correct, there are so many other worse organizations, but they choose to fight this. It is all about being a rebel, because it is "cool", the whole thing started as a joke anyways
- juicebag, on 03/15/2008, -0/+3Really? Name some.
- CavalierEternal, on 03/15/2008, -4/+1I agree, this whole anonymous affair just screams of young hip people who want so desperately to be part of something rebellious and cool. Wearing the Guy Fawkes masks from V for Vendetta, it comes off as juvenile, as if a bunch of kids just saw that movie or read the comic, and thought to themselves "DISSENT IS COOL!" Sorry anon, you're not cool, and your movement will not work. Better luck next time.
Thanks, please proceed to bury me now.- RubyTuesday, on 03/15/2008, -0/+2I don't think there is anything wrong with young people becoming aware of social activism and doing something besides complaining on digg. I don't care if there is a cool factor involved, if that hooks them and they are willing to do something non-violent and positive about problems they see than who gives a crap why they got interested in the first place. At least they did something.
- solistus, on 03/16/2008, -0/+2RubyTuesday: well said.
To add to that, am I the only one who thinks that maybe just a FEW of the protesters actually DO know and care precisely what and why they are fighting? Scientology is not just some silly club that gets made fun of on South Park. It has ruined many peoples' lives, and this has earned it some committed enemies.
- se1zure, on 03/15/2008, -7/+1this entire backlash is so flawed it's rediculous. Making videos about stupid crap will change nothing. If the curch of scientology broke laws, then RAISE MONEY AND TAKE IT TO THE COURTS. the biggest hit to them would be losing a court case which would ban their benifits. If what they are doing is really illegal, then you will have no problem winning.
If something is unconstitutional, then you don't sit back and bitch about, or make pointless videos about it. you should take it to the courts, vote against it.- TobiasParker, on 03/16/2008, -0/+3Wow, i will totally just go out and find several million dollars...it'l be ***** easy. i will have a bake sale.
- solistus, on 03/16/2008, -0/+1Scientology has an army of lawyers ready to tear anybody apart who tries. They have the money and the connections. It would be nice if we lived in a world where your solution worked, but when you have a bunch of anonymous protesters against a rich and powerful organisation full of rich and powerful members, you have to find asymmetric ways to fight back. Scientology can out-lawsuit just about anyone, but they appear to be baffled entirely by Anon's strategy. Every time that uber-secretive cult sees another mound of embarrassing internal documents leaked, that's another nail in the coffin. If you can't win in the court of law, win in the court of public awareness and opinion.
- miseleigh, on 03/16/2008, -0/+0Part of the point is to make it socially unacceptable to join Scientology, and Anon is succeeding with that. It'll reduce the number of people taken in by such ridiculous *****. Once Anon has reduced the threat of Scientology I suspect they will move on to bigger and better targets, but first they need support.
- ennTOXX, on 03/17/2008, -0/+1Thanks for the diggs on this post people. here is another I found that I posted for all of you.

- surilamin, on 03/15/2008, -11/+5The church of Scientology will fail.
- FeargusMcDuff, on 03/15/2008, -17/+12Are you serious? I mean, you might consider it the best possible outcome but do you seriously think a bunch of teens standing opposite a church singing Rick Astley and holding Mudkipz signs is really going to accomplish anything then you are either incredibly optimistic or downright foolish.
- xkingADROCKx, on 03/15/2008, -7/+3Sadly, i'm afraid your right.
- xptoast, on 03/15/2008, -0/+2You do know a ton of adults protest right?
- finalfantasyIII, on 03/15/2008, -5/+1Yeah you're right.. The Jews killed Jesus but that didn't stop Christianity.
- pegisys, on 03/15/2008, -2/+1That's what I don't get, I thought the Romans killed Jesus. Wasn't it the Romans that hung people on crosses
- finalfantasyIII, on 03/15/2008, -3/+1Then why are all the Christians mad at the Jews for killing jesus?
Maybe um.. they set him up for the fall, and the Romans did all the nasty work that they really enjoyed to do back then in the good o'l days. - xptoast, on 03/15/2008, -0/+1Didnt read your bible eh?
- finalfantasyIII, on 03/15/2008, -3/+1Then why are all the Christians mad at the Jews for killing jesus?
- pegisys, on 03/15/2008, -2/+1That's what I don't get, I thought the Romans killed Jesus. Wasn't it the Romans that hung people on crosses
- SHv2, on 03/15/2008, -0/+2Regardless of the fact that they were effectively rick rolling the Scientologists is irrelevant. The point is that Anonymous has motivated people around the world to stand up for a cause that they believe in. Whether anything comes out of it is yet to be seen. If only people could be motivated as much as they are about this one, perhaps things in this country (United States) could right itself and we can again be an example for the world to follow.
- miseleigh, on 03/16/2008, -0/+0If they get enough people helping, they will have an impact. Then they can move on to other targets. Catholicism, anyone?
- xkingADROCKx, on 03/15/2008, -7/+3Sadly, i'm afraid your right.
- Dsly, on 03/15/2008, -7/+1Why not also bring down the Catholic Church... in fact, why not abolish religion?
http://www.jfcshow.com- SHv2, on 03/15/2008, -0/+1did you not watch the video? since i can't say it any better. let's let the video transcript do the talking...
"As many of us are put off by Ron L Hubbard's religious doctrine we do not oppose the right of individuals to follow beliefs of their choice. As set forth in the universal declaration of human right everyone has the right to free thought, conscience, and religion. Anonymous as a whole honors the spirit of this declaration" - miseleigh, on 03/15/2008, -0/+5Forcing people to abandon religion violates their rights and is no different from censorship. Convincing them that it's wrong, however, is the right solution...
- asurroca, on 03/15/2008, -0/+1Why not also bring down Dsly... in fact, why not abolish spamming posts with links to your gay site?
- SHv2, on 03/15/2008, -0/+1did you not watch the video? since i can't say it any better. let's let the video transcript do the talking...
- chimaera2005, on 03/15/2008, -1/+2Are the crazy scientologists going to confiscate every computer with OS 10.5 because Alex was stupid and forgot to disguise his voice?
- se1zure, on 03/15/2008, -2/+2as much as I hate to say it, $20 says it won't happen in the next 20 years.
- smek2, on 03/16/2008, -1/+3Haha, because of what? Because of 200 masked nerds standing around near their HQs and releasing YouTube Videos?
- rebotfc, on 03/16/2008, -1/+3Sorry to cross post this ( yes it is a bit of spam but it's important). Anonymous has proven Scientology faked the bomb threats!!!!
http://digg.com/world_news/Anonymous_Vs_CoS_Youtub ... - macabaret, on 03/16/2008, -3/+2Sorry to cross post this, but Raptor Jesus asked me to spread the good word.
http://digg.com/comedy/Raptor_Jesus_Saves_Anonymou ... - Ron247, on 03/16/2008, -0/+2if i was a corrupt individual(with mad cash) and wanted to get away with murder, id probably join the Co$. lol. i bet they would accept and protect me as well as drain my accounts. =P
Scientology scares me...please be aware of who you are around anon. folks. They definitely have undercover "anon" spies watching y'all...
- Maynza, on 03/15/2008, -8/+47The church of Scientology will fail.
- chromerium, on 03/15/2008, -2/+111I'm really glad someone is willing to take a stand.
- LewisBreaker, on 03/15/2008, -11/+3because they are making such a difference to world!
- dunk71, on 03/15/2008, -0/+7Are you? At least they're trying.
- MiltonWaddams, on 03/15/2008, -2/+1*At least they're typing.
- progrockguy, on 03/15/2008, -5/+0@dunk71
Some kids at my university are planning a "protest" on campus today. They're going to dress up in masks, presumably, and whatnot.
Tell me, what is that going to accomplish? And who would benefit? I'd rather they focus their efforts toward something useful, like limiting wasteful tuition increases. Now that I could join/support.- dunk71, on 03/15/2008, -0/+4What it will accomplish is yet to be seen, but what they hope to accomplish is widely documented. They wish to bring awareness of the crimes and injustices that the CoS perpetrates and have those crimes and injustices addressed. So far they're doing a pretty good PR job, aren't they?
Tuition increases? Sure. I'm sure some of them will be up in arms about that too, as many of them are still in education and it's a personal issue for them. Why would you rather they did one and not the other? Why can't they do both?
- dunk71, on 03/15/2008, -0/+4What it will accomplish is yet to be seen, but what they hope to accomplish is widely documented. They wish to bring awareness of the crimes and injustices that the CoS perpetrates and have those crimes and injustices addressed. So far they're doing a pretty good PR job, aren't they?
- dunk71, on 03/15/2008, -0/+7Are you? At least they're trying.
- kronso23, on 03/15/2008, -0/+6 Why wait for someone to else to stand up first?
- chromerium, on 03/16/2008, -0/+2Good question. I guess I'm ***** :P
- LewisBreaker, on 03/15/2008, -11/+3because they are making such a difference to world!
- tehpwnerofn00bs, on 03/15/2008, -2/+194I'd join in, but there aren't any "churches" of scientology nearby. Oh well, Anon has my support nonetheless.
- nonstop87, on 03/15/2008, -0/+26Be happy there are none by.
- progrockguy, on 03/15/2008, -19/+10OK, the economy is nearing a crisis, prices are rising, people are still dying in Iraq, Halliburton/KBR is defrauding the government, the Bush administration is raping our constitution and civil liberties, and so on....
Yet many others like you are talking about protesting the CoS like it's the greatest threat to mankind. *sigh*- reignrk, on 03/15/2008, -1/+13If they were paying their taxes maybe the economy would be better?
- Ravatar, on 03/15/2008, -7/+3Way to completely miss the ***** point.
Get off your asses and protest something worthwhile.- tomee, on 03/15/2008, -0/+6Why not protest both things? If there's something worth protesting, protest it. It should be worth the time.
- JPOnion, on 03/16/2008, -0/+1Good point Ravatar, many of us forget that there can only be one thing being protested at a time. Anon, wait your turn!
- Ravatar, on 03/16/2008, -2/+1My point is that standing behind a miserably low-priority cause while there are much more pressing causes seems sorta wasteful and ignorant?
- Ravatar, on 03/15/2008, -7/+3Way to completely miss the ***** point.
- reignrk, on 03/15/2008, -1/+13If they were paying their taxes maybe the economy would be better?
- Grahamcracker, on 03/15/2008, -0/+4Does anyone know a site that lists planned protests against CoS? I'd like to join in, but I don't know if there is one in my city, perhaps in a larger, nearby city.
- dunk71, on 03/15/2008, -0/+1There was http://harbl.wetfish.net/cosplay/ but it's currently off-line.

- airstrike, on 03/16/2008, -1/+1finally some sg-1 on digg!
- amrom, on 03/17/2008, -0/+1http://tinyurl.com/33m8te You wouldn't want to go there. See the scientology gulag video documentary. Please digg before it is dugg down.
- IanPR, on 03/15/2008, -35/+11I'd join in, but I don't really want them to kill me.
- Xondar, on 03/15/2008, -2/+14Coward.
- Mihey, on 03/15/2008, -50/+7Buried for hearing impaired unfriendly. I oppose the CoS, however I oppose any wasteful propaganda as well. Do not stoop to their level.
- Audacitor, on 03/15/2008, -0/+4Well, you could download the video and add subtitles yourself, instead of just complaining.
- hawkspur, on 03/15/2008, -0/+6Youtube isn't known as a bastion of hearing-impaired accessibility .Come to think of it, the Internet as a whole isn't either.
- DaLukeMan, on 03/15/2008, -74/+10all these ***** anonymous release are just some douche makeing a speech then putting into microsoft sam to get views on youtube
- Nuke1, on 03/15/2008, -1/+27That is probably because they are anonymous, and no one in their right mind will speak with their own voice, for the sake of security.
- DaLukeMan, on 03/15/2008, -10/+2yep because if they were really anonymous then they wouldnt make press realeses and *****
- enclaved, on 03/15/2008, -1/+17Thanks, I wondered how they built a speaking robot, but thanks for clearing that up for us all.
- aristicero, on 03/15/2008, -0/+3It's Leopard's Alex, not MS Sam.
- sliggy, on 03/15/2008, -0/+7Yea, if it was MS Sam, it would sound like a 3 year old with down syndrome...
- ophello, on 03/15/2008, -0/+5you are a douchbag.
- Nuke1, on 03/15/2008, -1/+27That is probably because they are anonymous, and no one in their right mind will speak with their own voice, for the sake of security.
- peterkatheter, on 03/15/2008, -103/+15This is ridiculous, go and play outside instead of releasing these stupid vids.
Digg me down, please.- insanebrain, on 03/15/2008, -5/+37ok
- hawkspur, on 03/15/2008, -0/+4Ron? Is that you?
- MaTT2011, on 03/17/2008, -0/+2So apparently if a person becomes passionate about stopping evil they are losers who need to get a life?
WTF is wrong with you? Have you been completely transformed into another blind, self-induced ignorant, mindless consumer who thinks that things like the internet, pride, logic and reason are only for teenage hermits who never see the light of day? Come back to reality, oh dear idiot, and breath in the air of change; it tastes so sweet.
- word9995, on 03/15/2008, -11/+160sometimes i feel like these videos are crazy viral marketing for the next ridiculous tom cruise movie.
- Moshcrates, on 03/15/2008, -1/+11It's not out of the realm of possibility. Church of Scientology seems to have gotten about 2000% more press light since the Anonymous operation.
- Sendai129, on 03/15/2008, -0/+3Bad press... Even Fox News has turned against them in their latest report (the one that's up on digg here now). I mean sure there's old saying no publicity is bad publicity...but I don't think it quite holds true when it's about a psychotic murderous cult.
- jlbarber, on 03/15/2008, -1/+11I am actually quite disgusted with Cruise and his craziness.
- ithinkican, on 03/15/2008, -0/+4Join the club

- Savantgarde, on 03/16/2008, -1/+1I don't know... Coastguard?
- kinerry, on 03/15/2008, -23/+7Remove the "hearts and minds" line, people really don't want to hear it after the Iraq war
- Myonosken, on 03/15/2008, -0/+5No. Your ***** up war isn't taking a phrase that has been used in Britain for centuries prior to the US even being formed.
- sevenslashfour, on 03/15/2008, -4/+46I giggled when I saw this under "(Educational)."

- stackered, on 03/15/2008, -22/+19I respect what Anonymous is doing... but there are targets much bigger and worse than Scientology - they're just a bunch of corrupt loonies. I was always rooting so hard for Anonymous, still am, but I just feel like they are acting too "noble and mysterious" - just makes them seem a little crazy themselves.
- d03boy, on 03/15/2008, -2/+8crazy is perceived by the individual
- Meatshield, on 03/15/2008, -0/+10Well some of what they have done (such as hacking the CoS servers to grab a lot of this information) would get them arrested in numerous countries if people knew who they were. As such, they remain anonymous to protect themselves.
The Church also can't kill what the Church can't touch... - karaokekidd, on 03/15/2008, -0/+5All those bigger and worse targets are ones that people can't agree on.
- caironet16, on 03/16/2008, -0/+1"stackered" Although there are many other atrocities taking place in different parts of the world, we can't let CO$ take advantage of that. We are at war in more places than Iraq etc. Down with CO$.
- Ron247, on 03/16/2008, -0/+2have you ever seen what the Co$ does when they DO get your ID? better watch the BBC doc. on it...it's insane to see how they will follow and record your every move...its like paparazzi but actually on the mission to destroy your life.
- Coniferous, on 03/15/2008, -4/+37Whoever writes this is quite good, i do agree that the background music is a bit dramatic though.

Makes it feel more appropriate.- Rikkochet, on 03/15/2008, -0/+5It's call Lux Aeterna from the soundtrack to Requiem for a Dream and should NEVER be used as background music for a serious homemade video.
I question if there was any organization behind making this video... It felt like one of those fan movie trailers that gets posted on YouTube that people try to pass off as real.
- Rikkochet, on 03/15/2008, -0/+5It's call Lux Aeterna from the soundtrack to Requiem for a Dream and should NEVER be used as background music for a serious homemade video.
- Llanowar, on 03/15/2008, -0/+3http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lux_Aeterna_(Requiem_ ...
Though it's most known as Requiem for a Dream, Lux Aeterna certainly isn't wrong. - akkibaba, on 03/15/2008, -1/+2This song is a remix of Lux Aeterna, it's unofficially called Requiem for a Tower because it was remixed for the LOTR RoTK trailer.
- Crazychipmunk, on 03/15/2008, -7/+3Its called "Requiem for a Dream".
- SSUK, on 03/15/2008, -0/+3The music was unnecessary... But if they really needed to include it, they could have done us a favour and made it a bit quieter... Near the end it becomes quite hard to understand anything because the music begins to drown out the voice.
- stikeymo, on 03/15/2008, -6/+1Cheeseball pretentious music that makes me roll my eyes and ignore any positive message Anonymous may have FTL! ;)

Fight on brave anon. Fight on! - LewisBreaker, on 03/15/2008, -59/+5Please stop spamming digg with all thi santi scientology *****! We get it you guys dont like them, and lots of people who use this website seem to be jumping on the fad of a bandwagon because they think its so "Cool"!
Can someother retard group of hackers start a war on ANON to get them removed from digg because this is getting very boring very fast!- bennyboy371, on 03/15/2008, -1/+27Shut up already. Welcome to my ignore list.
For someone who doesn't care, you sure do spend a lot of time attacking everyone.- Akraz, on 03/15/2008, -17/+3You shut up.
- dunk71, on 03/15/2008, -1/+5No, you shut up.

- LewisBreaker, on 03/15/2008, -21/+2err who am I attacking? Im speaking my mind I am not allowed my free speach or do I have to be a sheep and go along with this "I am ANON" *****!
- screwzluse, on 03/15/2008, -0/+15You don't have to agree with things on Digg. That's why there is a bury button. But when most of Digg agrees with the article/submitter/whatever, don't expect the article to just disappear because it's annoying you.
- digitalpencil, on 03/15/2008, -0/+7I'm forever amazed by people's willful participation in threads about things they find boring. You don't want to hear it, don't listen.. You really don't like it, hit the bury button. Many people find this to not only to be interesting, but important. I fail to see how anyone could find this group's intentions as anything but noble.
There are lots of other articles on digg. You think this is boring, irrelevant and a bandwagon then don't participate. For some, this is personal. For many, it is important. This is about dismantling a cult/conglomerate which has committed atrocities against millions and lots of people think this is something worth fighting for. Don't agree? fair dos, but you can ***** off if you think we're going to bend to your cause of removing this from the public spotlight!
Oh & BTW, it's spelled 'speech' - MaTT2011, on 03/17/2008, -0/+1Speaking your mind, eh? Well; please stop. Your mind is filled with complete *****.
- akiraus, on 03/15/2008, -3/+12we are not your personal army newfag
- LewisBreaker, on 03/15/2008, -18/+2what does newfag even mean? I mean come on, if you are going to try and insult me you could be a bit more creative. So is this what you gusy to at a protest you stand out side thier church's and call them internet name?
- subsistenc3, on 03/15/2008, -2/+13I'll make it simple. You are a newfag - the cancer - and need to lurk moar. Do you want to be the cancer, or the cure?
That's basically it. Let me know if I went too fast for you.

- 3dprototype, on 03/15/2008, -0/+7You don't have to read or click on the links. You probably continue to watch a bad television show and complain about it the whole time. Maybe you're a CoS sympathizer?

- Ducttape38, on 03/15/2008, -20/+8I hate Scientology as much as everybody else on Digg, but really, why does there have to be 5 front page stories on it everyday? In all honesty, it's not news.
- willskillz, on 03/15/2008, -10/+2Agreed. All these Anonymous vids just give CoS more credit then they probably deserve. Okay, back to COD4!
- dunk71, on 03/15/2008, -0/+3How so, Einstein?
- willskillz, on 03/16/2008, -2/+1Because typically the more coverage subject A gets the more attention subject A will receive. Thus subject A will possibly accumulate more supporters because they won't want to be associated with dip ***** like yourself who won't stop crying about them.
- dunk71, on 03/16/2008, -1/+2Your post says it will give the CoS more credit. It's not a movie, or a CD we're talking about here. It's a life changing choice to get involved with Scientology and it's receiving NEGATIVE press, so while your observation may be true for products and less life impacting services, it hardly stands in this situation.
- willskillz, on 03/16/2008, -2/+1Because typically the more coverage subject A gets the more attention subject A will receive. Thus subject A will possibly accumulate more supporters because they won't want to be associated with dip ***** like yourself who won't stop crying about them.

- DaLukeMan, on 03/15/2008, -1/+1I imagine it wouldnt feel to bad because if one of my family members was dumb enough to join scientology i wouldve hated them anyways
- bagboyrebel, on 03/16/2008, -0/+2even if that does happen to some people it doesn't mean digg needs the spam. I'm sure everyone here is aware of the protests and where Anon stands, it's not news anymore.

- samgab, on 03/15/2008, -0/+1Not bad, as far as text-to-speech goes, but still not great. Still a long way to go till there's a believable computer voice, like in the movies/tv.
- LewisBreaker, on 03/15/2008, -21/+4So is this how teenagers in 2008 rebel against something, they make stupid videos and hide behind masks and go and bother some people for no good reason?
- thedogfatherx, on 03/15/2008, -2/+6You need to read up on Scientology. I'm glad something has started moving towards shutting this cult/business down.
- LewisBreaker, on 03/15/2008, -8/+4I knoiw a bit about scientology but this is all ***** you guys need to get a constructive hobby!
- kb29, on 03/15/2008, -1/+9What's more constructive than bringing down a powerful cult, browsing Digg all day?
- LewisBreaker, on 03/15/2008, -7/+2yeah they are really bringing down a cult. And I am work with a few hours to kill!
- dunk71, on 03/15/2008, -1/+3But you're a closed minded presumptive ***** artist, so why should anyone listen to you?
- willskillz, on 03/15/2008, -5/+1I think there was boobs like you who tried that with Christianity.

- willskillz, on 03/15/2008, -4/+1YES, it is what they do. And they hide their faces so their parents don't catch and ground them.
- ophello, on 03/15/2008, -1/+2who said it was teenagers?? You havent been watching the news, have you...
- RubyTuesday, on 03/15/2008, -1/+2Oh no, young people (and adults) have taken up a social cause that you don't particularly support. They most be losers who are just doing it to be cool . . . as opposed to people who have different values than you who feel they can make a positive impact by doing something besides bitching on digg.
- Ananamuss, on 03/15/2008, -1/+1You obviously have no idea who is actually protesting, or why. Your ignorance is laughable. Please take time to learn about a subject before you discuss it in a public forum, otherwise you're simply wasting space that could be better used by people who have legitimate concerns, comments and criticisms.
- MaTT2011, on 03/17/2008, -0/+1Jesus Christ you're a total ass. Just because a large group of people have stripped away the apathetic cloak cast onto them by modern society by taking up a righteous, logical and selfless cause does not mean they are "teenagers" and even if some of them are it does not make what they are doing wrong, trivial or a waste of time.
There are PLENTY (see: Epic amount) of reasons to expose Scientology for the harmful, disgusting abomination it is. Just because YOU are too apathetic to discover or pay attention of those reasons does not mean they do not exist. So take your ***** and go find some other forum of mindless drones to spout your ***** at; the people here seek change and they seek to help create a better world for all individuals to live in.
- thedogfatherx, on 03/15/2008, -2/+6You need to read up on Scientology. I'm glad something has started moving towards shutting this cult/business down.
- ColonelJessup, on 03/15/2008, -19/+11Someone tell me why everyone hates Scientology so much? I mean, I get it, they are a loony church that believes loony *****, but why all the anger? People can worship however they please.
I get it, digg.com is full of vocal, militant, angry athiests. O.K. you guys made your point. Rage against the machine all you want, but you really don't have any right to attack people based upon their religious beliefs. It makes you no better than other religions who do the same thing.
Before I get dugg down into the abyss, I just want to be clear, I don't believe in religion either, but I would not, and will not openly attack someone because they do believe. I have a very simple philosophy in life:
Live and let live.- kb29, on 03/15/2008, -4/+9You obviously did not watch the video. Watch it again, pay attention to the words coming from your speakers, and then think again about what you just heard.
- willskillz, on 03/15/2008, -8/+2I like you.
- darkfish, on 03/16/2008, -0/+1Go on - don't be shy - ask him out on a date.
- FeargusMcDuff, on 03/15/2008, -8/+4Hear-hear! What right do we have to tell (although trying to force) others into doing what we want? Don't we live in a free country? If they were breaking any laws then they'd be arrested. So if you don't like it, don't join Scientology? What does 4chan possibly hope to achieve?
- SSUK, on 03/15/2008, -1/+5You seem to be under the illusion that there is justice in this world and that bad guys always get their just deserts. I'm sorry, but the world doesn't work like in fiction.
- etx313, on 03/15/2008, -0/+3Guess what guy, They wont let YOU live. If you sit back with an attitude like that your going to get squashed out. Thats why this country is in the place its in now. Nobody stands up for what they believe in and corrupt individuals take advantage of that. Go back to your American Idol or whatever, we'll handle this and you can thank us later.
- liquidpele, on 03/15/2008, -0/+2Anonymous has specifically stated that this is not against Scientology. It is against the "Church of Scientology" Incorporated, because of their actions in limiting freedom of speech.
- Krazykorean530, on 03/15/2008, -0/+1I don't hate Scientology specifically it's just the fact that they CHARGE actual money for people to be a part of their religion.
- jboettcher, on 03/15/2008, -1/+3This is the trailer for Tom Cruise's next movie....

- diggafrica, on 03/15/2008, -12/+7Honestly , all these people matching back & forth.. what has scientology really done to them ? Nothing!. Let them worship a stone even if they want, long as they dont throw it at you. We claim that scientology is a Scam and so forth.. but honestly people, what religion isnt ? Whats the difference between Moses opening up the Red Sea & Xenu bringing us here ? Dont they both smell like ***** ? come on people.. am no scientology fan but I think we are overeacting about their religion when our religions are full of as much ***** stories, trickery & concepts.. You can digg me down if u want..
- LewisBreaker, on 03/15/2008, -6/+2AT last someone who post something that makes sense!
- asdfghjkl420, on 03/15/2008, -2/+2There are more important causes then scientology that we could be fighting, but it IS a cause worth fighting for. Just 1 of the billion things in this world we have to fix, I hope anonymous grows and actually succeeds in completing there goals, and then turns its attention to the next cause.
- d03boy, on 03/15/2008, -2/+1i hope they turn to something useful like work out the issues with the government instead
- liquidpele, on 03/15/2008, -0/+2I stated this to a commend above too, but I'll state it again. They don't hate Scientology, they hate the "Church of Scientology" (as in the incorporated organization) because they've used lawsuits to limit freedom of speech for years.
- ophello, on 03/15/2008, -0/+2THEY ARE AGAINST THE CHURCH AND ITS PERSECUTION/BRAINWASHING OF ITS MEMBERS, NOT THE BELIEFS. DO SOME RESEARCH.
- mizike, on 03/15/2008, -12/+4Two points:
1) Why does "Anonymous" have such a hate on for scientology in particular....have they stated a position on their level of tolerance for other religious organizations?
2) No one will ever take them seriously while they are "Anonymous". It makes them seem like they're afraid to be associated with their position (yes, I know it's cause they don't want to get sued, that doesn't make it any better....greenpeace has been sued many times, yet they keep doing what they believe in). I mean, think of other groups where the members are afraid to identify themselves.....it's not really good company to be in...- d03boy, on 03/15/2008, -0/+2its a large group of people... it's not a church, not a club, it's an idea... not sure what people dont understand about that
- liquidpele, on 03/15/2008, -0/+2If you read about what the Church of Scientology has done to those who actively criticize them in public, you would want to be anonymous while speaking out against them too. It's like finding a vulnerability in a product, telling the company, and then having them sue you for "hacking" them. When dealing with people like that, you just don't want to put yourself too far out there where you're vulnerable.
- geddon, on 03/15/2008, -0/+1I dugg your comment simply because we are at WAR -- some would say, for oil; however, the Jihad is inspired by a religious hatred of the values of the West. Whoever believes another "war against religion" is in ANY WAY appropriate at this point in history is a short-sighted idiot.
- Metasquares, on 03/15/2008, -0/+1They explicitly stated in the video that they have nothing against the religious practices of scientologists. They have a problem with the operations of the organization itself.
- gwhardyiv, on 03/15/2008, -0/+3TOO LONG.
Mystery is the greatest asset of Anonymous, and long-winded, undergraduate soapbox rants like this strip that mystery away. It is important to state that no one will be harmed, but just say it and get out.- kronso23, on 03/15/2008, -0/+1The first part of the video gets that out of the way. The rest they should save for another video that isn't a promotional one... or even transcribe it and put it on their website.
