Factions of the CIA have been corrupted (not the entire group) by basically, running the mob and then becoming it. Does everyone remember the head of the CIA quitting, because they were paying for prostitutes and poker at the Watergate Hotel? That's one of those "little" incidents that gets swept under the carpet. Ollie North paid for weapons to go to extremists in Iran, by running drugs. And there are CIA planes, that aren't CIA planes, as soon as they crash in Columbia.
Take a look at accusations that DEA agents have been ratted out to Drug Lords, or the Nuns who were all killed because one of them was DEA.
