Keep your containers and put stuff in them. - CoD4, on 01/06/2009, -0/+16protip: to store more *****, throw out some *****
- Linkin4, on 01/06/2009, -2/+15I've been looking for a place to store my homegrown!
- oboshoe, on 01/06/2009, -0/+12Great.
now WTF do I store all these paper towl rolls, milk jugs, candy tins, egg cartons, aluminum pie pans, baby wipes containers, two liter bottles, and empty liquor boxes?
Before I was just unorganized, now that I've put all my stuff in those, now its looks like I live in a dump. - inajeep, on 01/06/2009, -0/+9Great, all hoarders will more or less organized now and when they die the relatives will have to open each candy tin, coffee can, baby wipe box and shoe box to make sure they don't throw away anything important.
- SeaMowse, on 01/05/2009, -3/+7Cool. Thanks for submitting this - been bookmarked and already can think of uses for some of the ideas. :-)
- jkleinfeld, on 01/06/2009, -2/+6Surely I'm not the only one to have thought this was on article on storing hydro?
- acmaurer, on 01/05/2009, -4/+8Easy, practical ideas - as always.
- sk8ngame, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4as did I :(
- codx999, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4Having them on all one page....even more ingenious.
- poppyrich, on 01/06/2009, -1/+4Why waste a whole room, let's just use aluminium pie trays to store all that mud...
- conspireagainst, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3Needs some pics.
- Scrappy1850, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3thats what i thought this was for :(
- clemdia, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3Filed under "If I Start Hoarding Garbage..."
- EOTM, on 01/06/2009, -1/+4this is so freakin' anal retentive. who is going to sort their belts into coffee cans? or store sandpaper on a clipboard. wastes my time just thinking about it.
buried. - BobMysterioso, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3Or you're an old man. We bought a house and in the basement I found these sorts of storage "ideas" everywhere. Its better to go to ikea and guy a few organizers and toss or donate the rest. Less stuff is freeing.
- oboshoe, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3A room, usually off the garage or leading to the backyard, where people take off their shoes and coats. (i.e. muddy kids muddy shoes)
Required for every Mcmansion nowdays. - gardenia, on 01/06/2009, -1/+3Best way to clear up that cluttered space in your house: donate your sh*t that's sitting there collecting dust to someone who would love to have it and actually use it.
- LaBella023, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2buried for ugly storage tips...how cute is it to have baby wipe tubs and shoe boxes all over the GD place.
- dannystaple, on 01/12/2009, -0/+1The one about the paint jugs makes no sense - if pain is not covered, wont it just harden in the jug?
- dannystaple, on 01/12/2009, -0/+1Ah - but instead of a bag of carrier bags, I get to put those in stackable boxes in a cupboard - much neater.
- borez, on 01/06/2009, -1/+2Also use money bags for your all weed needs + keep those used lottery tickets as they always come in handy as cocaine wraps.
- KenSPT, on 01/06/2009, -1/+2I use a Mason Jar; keeps everything fresh ...
- inactive, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1For you college kids living in the dorms and the rest of you living with mom and dad, don't throw out that empty toilet paper roll - stuff a little fabric softener at the end, exhale through the tube and it makes for a great way to hide those telltale smells.
- borez, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1Me too.
- poppyrich, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1you mean you need serious help with garbage...because that's what the article is really about.
- inactive, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1Instead of throwing out garages, use them as storage for your storage.
When that fills up, instead of throwing out your warehouses, use them to store your garages.
That way, you'll only pollute once your dead, so you won't feel guilty. - OwdenBowden, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1yeah but there really isn't anything for storing body parts.
- dannystaple, on 01/12/2009, -0/+1Or flog it on ebay/gumtree.
- poppyrich, on 01/06/2009, -1/+2On closer inspection...I stand corrected.
- Frostek, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1What's a "mudroom"?
- kelso23, on 01/06/2009, -0/+0why 87? they couldn't think of three more crappy ideas to make it an even number at 90?
- trentrezn0r, on 01/06/2009, -2/+2Buried for thinking the article was going to be about digital storage. Not how to organize my kitchen.
- poppyrich, on 01/06/2009, -1/+1Of course!!! I am a fool to do what I do...store my change in an empty cold cream tub which looks far better on my dresser and the top screws shut to boot. Oh no, an egg carton cutout makes so much more sense, it's far more aesthetic and wouldn't just make me look like an idiot scavenger.
And this person eats far too many berries... - poppyrich, on 01/06/2009, -1/+1Dugg for the spot-on summary! Lol!
- poppyrich, on 01/06/2009, -1/+1@ CoD4
dugg for practicality... - poppyrich, on 01/06/2009, -1/+1I think you might have been the only one...
- poppyrich, on 01/06/2009, -1/+1I just assumed the author didn't know how to use 'homegrown' in a sentence :/
- DaigojiGai, on 01/05/2009, -3/+3Cool submission 1KK. Doh, I actually think I am going to be using these ideas... I need serious help with storage.
- chillymanilli, on 01/06/2009, -2/+1burried for spam comments, readers digest, inaccurate title (not about homegrown storage as others have commented) and lastly.....cos its crap
- theradical, on 01/06/2009, -2/+1pics or i don't care
- SIDSI, on 01/06/2009, -4/+2buried
- mngrwildthing, on 01/06/2009, -2/+0I thought this was going to be about where to hide my weed.
- cougarzz, on 01/06/2009, -2/+0good idea
