Digg Ads Advertising Guidelines
Please review these guidelines and ensure that all advertisements you submit to the Digg Ads program comply.
We reserve the right to disapprove any ad for any reason and to modify or amend our policies (including formatting requirements) at any time.
- Your Ad must accurately describe and relate to the content on the landing page of your Ad. All Ads that include pricing or discounts must be supported by content on the landing page. Ads will be disapproved if a promoted product or service is not offered or available as promised.
- Your Ad must use correct grammar and spelling as well as standard capitalization, punctuation, and symbols. Grammatical errors, spelling errors, and excessive capitalization, punctuation, or symbols may be edited by the Digg Ads staff. Your Ad may include only one exclamation point, and it may not be in the title.
- Your Ad must be within the character limits as follows: Title: 60 characters, Description: 100 characters.
- Your Ad must contain a thumbnail that is relevant to the content of the Ad and/or the landing page of your Ad. The thumbnail must be 80x80 pixels and no larger than 40kb.
- Your Ad must include the accurate corporate name to be used in the "Sponsored by" field. The name must fit within 32 characters, and must include at minimum the name of the company submitting the Advertisement. You may also optionally include a brand name, provided it fits within the character limit. Exceptions to this policy are at Digg’s sole discretion and are valid only with written approval.
- Your Ad must not refer to Trademarks registered to third parties except in the case of fair use, such as competitive claims referencing a Trademark that are supported by content on the landing page.
- Unless otherwise agreed by Digg in writing, your Ad may not use any Trademarks, service marks, or tradenames registered to Digg.
- Your Ad may not contain offensive or inappropriate language.
- If you believe an Ad infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at abuse@Digg.com.
