@JoeToenails I haven't seen Breaking Bad, but i know the gist of it. And I definitely had a moment like that. When i had my paper order in and started printing, I was printing $80 a second. It was piling up like crazy. I had skip full s of money. There was no way to stop me. I was fucking rich. It was awesome. I hear in Breaking Bad they made $80 million. Those amateurs. I went a lot farther.

@notacop Unfortunately I don't do counterfeiting any more. In fact I'm trying to stop it as much as I can.

@Mal Before you spend a penny or do any research, look up the sentencing you're likely to get for the amount of money you're about to counterfeit, and think about whether or not you can cope with it.

@AveryD Unfortunately I really don't. It's a big part of what I'm trying to do as a consultant right now. Change is a huge, slow process. Just getting governments to want to talk to a criminal is hard, but they should talk to me. They need to make their money safer, but it's not going to change any time.

@shiv It's a very tricky process. The most honest thing I can say is, while i suck at a lot of things, one thing I'm good at at is reading people. Because I wasn't able to talk to anyone over the phone, I had to do it over over email, and in the end no one rat me out. It's just something I feel when I talk to people. Not everyone can do it, but i guess I'm the best there is.

@Jogull It's the most logical denomination to go by. You're just asking for trouble if you do $50s or $100s.

@OiOiSaveloy I wouldn't discount Bitcoin or something like that. I chose paper because computers and hacking isn't my cup of tea. If I put my head to it, most definitely I could do it, but at the time it wasn't for me.

@myoung No. While most of them look awfully different compared to the other, they're all the same really. The drawings on it will change, they'll overlap intricate bird pictures of whatever, but the computer doesn't care. I could duplicate any one I want next week.

@Catch22 No. The reason I was attracted to counterfeiting was the feeling I'd be able to spend the rest of my life without a single care in the whole world. That's what was driving me. Also the thrill of it. I bought the cars and toys when I was younger, but living that kind of lifestyle is hard because you have to justify it. This time around I just wanted to be worry free.

@triptadani When I started this whole project, I started by thinking about the worst case scenario. Like, what would happen if I got arrested, and needed to get myself out. So my escape plan was the very first thing I planned, and i did it with a guy I had all the trust in the world in. I made sure I paid him a nice chunk, but I didn't need to convince him because he wasn't related to what I was doing and didn't know anything. He trusted me as much as I trusted him.

@AveryD I wish everyone in the Government was as quick-witted as you.

@thejosco It has to be the escape plan I made ahead of time to get out. The $250 million was fun and exciting, but I was facing 60 years at sentencing. I was fighting for my life, and I'm most proud of the fact I was able to win that back.

@Ginger I did counterfeit the latest bills they have. The same ones the Government said they spent a $1 billion making secure.

@Joshdel I may or may not be in a hay field in Buxton, behind a brick wall, under a rock that has no reason to be there, and 50 paces away from a big oak tree.

@LindaMcAllister I wouldn't say I'm bored. I like what i'm doing right now trying to leave a positive mark on the world. (i.e. Consulting; I call it redemption through protection.) It's very rewarding and what I want to do for the rest of my life. I will say, there was a thrill to doing illegal stuff, and I liked it at the time. But I don't miss it now.

@Celery_Jones Leonardo DiCaprio would be among my first choices. Matt Damon would also be at the top of my list. In my head, the way I look at things and the way I work, I'm very much like Jason Bourne. The way he's always trying to be 3 or 4 steps ahead is very similar to me. Whoever ends up playing me, I'd just say, "be Jason Bourne with a French accent."

@yotoby Were writing the book as we speak. I'm working with an awesome guy called Mark Warren. We're pushing to try and get it out by the end of this year, then we're going to move onto the movie. A lot of studios have already contacted me, but we want to do the book first.

@kevoin For now, I'm not tackling the extradition problem I have. There's no immediate danger of anything happening right now. That said, I do want to fix it eventually. I'd like to maybe work out a deal with the US Mint where I help them stop their currency getting counterfeited and they drop the extradition in exchange. They'd get a lot more out of it than me. I would save them billions.

@tgerrick37 The paper is definitely the hardest part of all of it. All the security features are in the paper recipe. First, you have to find an industrial paper mill that's willing to make a custom recipe. Then, you have to talk them into adding proprietary elements that's only found in bank note paper. Then, you have to be sure the person you're dealing with isn't going to call the feds on you, and the Secret Service aren't going to show up at your door with the first order you place. It's... @KyloRain This answer is going to be really boring. I didn't go into this because I was inspired by anyone. I was just sick and tired of chasing after money. I just saw it as a business.

@liverpud No. When I was counterfeiting my crazy phase was behind me. I'd bought everything I wanted to. I didn't want to splurge on fast cars or anything like that. Been there, done that. I just wanted to have a comfortable life with no money problems. Now, I just want to focus on doing good in life.

@LeddDiggetyDogg Yes, definitely. The gift that I had that allowed me to counterfeit is exactly the same gift I use to figure out counterfeiters today. My mission today is to eradicate counterfeiting once and for all. I want to help Governments put guys like me in jail.
