- dclowd9901, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Totally sweet. I can't wait til I think of a reason to use it. I'm not a big modder, but I'm sure something will come up. Maybe for my PVR project...
- johnoneal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0few friends have used this for custom car parts. works great
- safe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This would be great for business presentations like card holders, door signs...and the best part about it, is that you could say that it was designed by yourself!
- adml_shake, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yes...now I can get started on my robot.....my girl robot...

ITs gonna be the best prom EVER! - 16x9, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I think eMachineShop is cool too. But isn't this whole submission just spam?
Now I think about it, yes it is SPAM!!! - chosenone-, on 10/12/2007, -1/+016x9: So is every link posted on digg. Your point?

- Diggg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's an electronic type version of this site but I can't remember what it's called. But I know someone else will!
- spy.c, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0great! now i can get the final pieces i need for my bomb
- doofus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Is this a story or an advertisement? I'm confused.
- vr6vdub, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I've played with this in the past. It's EXPENSIVE. Unless you are requesting to have hundreds of parts made, you are going to be shelling out ALOT of money. In other words...this is not for the casual modder.
- timeshifter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Bill Machrone did a column on this in PC Magazine a while back. He was very impressed. I'm impressed too. Yes, it might be expensive, but compared to what? Compare their price to the other alternatives to making one-off parts or design samples and I think you'll find them highly competitive.
- holymoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If you plan to make a variety of parts off this site, it might be much more cost effective in the long run to buy a cnc machine from ebay.
- GaryK, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I run a model car website. I'm trying to imagine all the things my members, some of whom build models worth thousands of dollars could do. Custom wheels were the first thing that came to mind. How cool would that be?
- DeepNarcosis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I am a production manager at a manufacturing shop that uses specialized Italian equipment, getting spare parts is a bitch, and considering the entire country of Italy is off for vacation the month of August, getting a part can sometimes takes months, this site will definately save me all those migranes and alcohol to wash away the pain...
- LaJmOn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow... no more replacement parts made from Coffee Cans and Coat Hangers!
- jmccorm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0adml_shake stole my line!
- jmccorm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wonder if I should make metallic business cards?
- OrangeTide, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What prevents people from buying an AK-47 "parts kit" which is technically legal to buy. Then having this place machine an AK-47 reciever? (that's the only thing missing from the parts kit). Sure you wouldn't have a serial number on your receiever, but AK-47 is illegal in most states anyways.
- rkrock, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0WIRED did an article as well. Very insightful. Pick up the latest edition!
