Alright let’s get started.
Tutorial One: Distort Warp and Layer Effects.
Now this is basic to intermediate
so, umm, but for you, this is going to be stupid hard, advanced.
So just, just try not to slow it down
First off get a photo.
Open up bridge.
And maybe you've got a photo of your family
or maybe a, uhh, photo of people who care about you
or maybe you've got a photo of the vannigan
that your wife and friend from high school spend Friday nights in.
Uhh, yeah you know. Actually, oh hey look, I’ve got that one myself right here,
so lets go ahead and open this up, that's what we'll start with.
Umm, let's just say for hypothetical that you really wan't to do some ***** to this vannigan
And, I mean, the real vannigan.
But let's also say there's a restraining order that prevents you getting close enough to do that kind of ***** to it.
So let's have Photoshop do the dirty work for us.
Now we could, what, we could, uhh... bash it up a little bit. Umm, or set it on fire.
I'd rather try something a little more subtle.
Let’s put something in the windshield.
Now we could put a parking ticket.
Or maybe like a bumper sticker.
You know, that would maybe read like, umm: "If the vannigan is a rockin', don't c-, my wife is being drilled by some guy named Ricky."
You know.
I've actually, for me, I've got a copy of my marriage certificate.
And so, I'm going to put it on the driver's side of the windshield for him and everyone to see.
So let's open that up.
We’ll go back down to bridge.
And let's see, I’ve got it... in, here we go.
And... the first thing I'm going to do.
I'm gonna select-all, copy. Close that, and paste it in.
Now I’ve got this new layer.
And what I want to do is I want to reverse it.
So that he can read it.
So let's go flip-horizontal. Great.
Command-t and transform this thing down.
Just gonna rough it in, just to estimate the size.
Now I’m gonna grab the uhh distort tool.
Uhh, some people might grab the perspective tool.
But, umm, they're big pussies.
So... we're gonna do it, we're gonna do it the right way.
And we're just sorta gonna rough it in. estimate it. heh heh.
Just sorta guess it in there.
And uhh, get it to where we like it.
That's pretty good.
And then you know, maybe just grab the warp tool.
And just warp it a little bit.
You know. Like my, like my marriage.
... And just warp it up.
We got that, that's lookin' pretty good.
Now we're just going to grab a simple lay--.

You might wanna try lightening it.
That didn't really do it.
Or over... overlay is a good one.
That kinda looks like a frosty windshield.
