      A standard paintball round delivers about 10 joules. However, a lot of that is dissapated when the round splatters.

      Airsoft, by comparison, delivers right around 1 joule. I've been hit by airsoft rounds at close range all over my upper body. I've even had a few break skin on my arms and neck. Nothing to see a doctor about, but it still hurt.

      Look closely, the "trigger" and trigger frame are both the real trigger. You can see the real trigger easily, and you can also see the lines where the trigger hinges.

I now have 2 1911's, a new Springfield and an EXTREMEMLY old Springfield (mfg 1917!) and both shoot better than any other pistol I have ever owned, including the Glock 19.
