I understand the need for ads and I've tried multiple times to keep it disabled but there are just too many ***** ads on this site. Remember the neon colored free iPod ads? How about those auto-expanding flash ads that would cover half the screen? Or the video ads that would auto play? Now there's this garbage.

1st point - are you saying to "Digg this" if you want Digg to have these annoying backgrounds, and conversely, "Bury" it if you don't want the backgrounds?
2nd - if the above is true, and that is what your submission implies, then it is backwards. It should read something like "If you hate what Digg is doing, Digg this!" That way it will rise ... not get buried.
