What Happens When you Cross a Cab with a Motorbike?
treehugger.com — The City Swing is a hybrid motorbike cab with seats for three people. Driven by bio-fuel or electricity, and by making use of bus-only lanes, the motorbike cab is faster, more economical and less polluting than present-day cabs. How has no one thought of and implemented this yet?!

- ripstuntz, on 12/05/2007, -0/+1I'll never forget when me and a buddy rented mo-peds in Panama City Beach. The guy at the store told us we had to fill them up before we brought them back -- not to mention I was nervous becuase I was low on cash. We rode those damn things around for hours, we had them pretty much all day. It came time to take them back so we pulled up to the gas pump. I put the nozzle into the mo-ped and pulled the lever to start pumping.
The pump shut off when it hit 75 cents. The damn thing was full, after 6 hours of use, on 75 cents.
A mo-ped taxi? Fan-*****-tastic idea. - DeskFlyer, on 12/05/2007, -0/+1Imagine seeing Ben Bailey on that thing.
- jtmeyer, on 12/06/2007, -0/+1it's scary enough to be in a car with a cabbie driving. there's no way i'd trust them to drive me around on that thing.
plus you think i'm going to wear that stanky ass communal helmet? hell no.
