- punchingjudy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16Because, you know, this is more helpful than Flickr's already intuitive GUI. Or something.
- murloSad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15just what I was thinking, what's the point of posting this?
- nyc2socal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Thats like comparing apples to oranges.. Mars is a planet.. ;-)
- jamester, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8solution for annoying notes - mouse over picture. mouse off of picture. :)
- RadiantBeing, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10If this guy likes Flickr, he's gonna ***** himself when he discovers YouTube and Google Earth. Seriously, welcome to several years ago.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6On the other hand, global warming is not really occuring on Mars. BUT, there is a chance of snow on pluto this evening!
- ThePottsDome, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Jeez.... what a bunch grouches. Just a different way to introduce features in Flickr, that's all.
- masgrada, on 10/12/2007, -6/+8Is it just me or are those boxes for notes incredibly annoying? Completely detracts from the original picture.
- cogdog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"What a tough crowd" -- FYI, most of the world is not quite as so clued in as y'all who think this is old news. This flickr site was set up as a demonstration for teachers, who just are not as cool as so many of you, and do not know of so many things. A whole lot of people do not know about flickr notes. And there is no s*** in this guy's pants as he's been on this stuff long before.
- gfixler, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I thought everyone on Flickr knew about notes and tags. Above every image you upload it says "ADD NOTE." Besides, he didn't take it far enough, whereas I take it too far:

You can also go crazy with tags. My reasoning is that someone like me, who enjoys nostalgia, may go on Flickr, and search up some old thing. That's the person I'd most like to find the picture - someone who would really appreciate it. I wish everyone would richly tag their images. I've often searched for things, and found 1 or 2 pictures, or none, and I know there are probably many more on there somewhere. Also, I wish computers were smart enough to figure out the tags for themselves.

- washingtonydc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I totally have the same bluetooth mouse.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2ok i see now yahoo owns flickr, I am thinking that Picasa is ok right? some people need to get laid, stop digging in your pants and get laid
- jamester, on 10/12/2007, -5/+4Well, it is kind of a fun way to remind users just how many different ways you can use flickr, NOT all of which are easily discovered by flickr's amazing GUI. That said, I love flickr, and this is a pretty cool pic. :)
- SourWorm, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2It honestly annoyed the hell out of me. Partially because a lot of it was a 'why the hell would I use flickr for that' or do it at all.
- titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -7/+5Lame.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1What can we do with digg?
There is this nifty button that you can click to bury lame posts as this. Also can you bury spam that way!
Of course this represents just a small set of powerful ways you can use digg. - Bobski, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1"What Can We Do With Flickr?"
Good question. I mostly try to ignore it. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1***** flickr...stupid ***** site
- idandfei, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0Agreed. Flickr is over-rated.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -9/+1Photobucket > flickr
