- Ystig, on 10/12/2007, -6/+62I don't know, it just doesn't have that special...something, that MySpace's finer candidates share:

(Warning: your head asplode; your eyes, they go blind) - MikeKnoop, on 10/12/2007, -7/+44Billy, click the link. Duggmirror takes the referrer from digg.com, parses it, and then tries to display it.

No, diggmirror takes the referrer information *you send* from *your browser* - parses it - and tries to display it.
Personally, I don't send my referrer information to anyone, because I don't like the idea of telling everyone where I've been. The "proper" diggmirror link is http://duggmirror.com/design/Weirdest_personal_page_I_ve_ever_seen/ which will work for everyone, including paranoid people, like myself.
Although, it doesn't really matter anyway because the site went down even before diggmirror could get a copy of it. - patience, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22Good designer....with issues.
Seriously, this could be used by an ad firm for many things.
Good Job. - DesireCampbell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14You must really hate news about the solar system, that *****'s been around for _decades_
- artofwar420, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13I think I lost some braincells. Damn.
- liquidcoooled, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Angryboy, sending referrer information from links you click on a page just lets the sites know how the web works and where people are coming from.
Clicking a link from your favorites/bookmarks NEVER sends the referrer of the page you currently have, so you can safely view your porn and then load digg from bookmarks and digg will never know you have been browsing midget porn.
However, clicking a link you see in digg lets the owner of the site know you came from digg and whats the harm in that?
To me, its just polite to let the site owner know how you found them. - micahglasser, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12The man who made that web site is not looking to market anything or make any money. The website is a piece of poetic art that serves as a signpost pointing toward the desperation of a genius who has come to grips with his own insignificance and failure to achieve greatness. It actually was a rather powerful display for myself.
- sillywampa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11OMG!! WTF was that?
I need to lie down. - kingace, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12Hence the term "personal page."
- savingadvice, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13strangely entertaining - although I have no idea what to make of it.
- smotchkic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10This one's even stranger

- JorgeGT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7THE HORROR!
(But you will still following the link above despite this comments, you know it. You are not strong enought to avoid it. This explains a lot about the human condition, my friend.) - Wootery, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7And that is why god invented the reply button...
- ToastPop, on 04/17/2009, -1/+6I don't know why, but just clicking those links never works for me and I just get the main page. I need the exact link.
- superpixel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5someone tell the Internet we need more of this
- causticwindow, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7i like the sugar cubes. i use to love my sugar cubes.

- tylerni7, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Midget porn? I don't watch midget porn. How would you know that's what I do before I go to digg?
*stumbles over stacks of midget porn to turn off referrers* - lowerlogic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Don't think dugg mirror is working correctly, all I see from duggmirror is "Dutch (Nederlands) Japanese
e-cards chat bugs help download links"
Anyone care to describe what the site was like before it went down? - MikeKnoop, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Here it is, an unlikely source:
http://web.archive.org/web/20060427063145/http://www.nobodyhere.com/
-Mike - sillywampa, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5so we need to revisit the whole dugmirror controversy again. Some firewalls will block referer sending. Some folks are viewing these in their RSS readers so no referer is sent. The Referer is one of the most unreliable aspects of the HTTP protocol to use. Dugmirror does it as a convenience, but you should still post the whole link so those who for whatever reason send no referer can view the right page.
- Klisk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3News doesn't have to be current if no one has seen it before. If it's new on digg, it's still news to us.
- sensibledriver, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Where's the "Bury > Flash" option?
- oskite, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3None of the mirrors seem to be working... or possibly the page itself isn't working for me. It loads the same bit of it on all the mirrors then stops.
- honeycut, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2you can love them all over again:
http://www.nme.com/news/sugarcubes/24381 - acca, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Very interesting. Flash?
- doshindude, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3it's not as good as http://wwwwwwwww.jodi.org/
- gameguy43, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2if you like this kind of stuff, check out http://www.radiohead.com/worms.php or any other part of the radiohead website. it's important that we remember that there IS a time when putting aside standards is ok, and that's when a page is approached as a piece of art rather than a means of displaying data.
- Surfer51, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This website was forwarded to me in 1995. So I guess it has been around for awhile. Every now and then it has changed slightly, I recall once when it had tons of insects all over the place on one of it's links.
I vote this one as my all time favorite... - kixxster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2that one's really cool
- lightandfire, on 10/12/2007, -5/+7Don't waste your time...lame.
- Computer_Kid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Good design & personal web page!? Usually personal pages are on myspace and full of 90's animated gifs.
- RobSaint, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1check out the chat link. It's great. You move around the page as a bug and chat in real time to others.
- egb6550, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Way too creative, obviously this guy should be put away.
- ginty, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Wow, digg found a site that hasn't changed in nearly 4 years. Way to go digg.
- mikal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is Superbad.com, 10 years ago.
- tidu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Tower of Bears" ftw
- jutendouji, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm honestly a bit freaked out by that website... I got to this part where I was choosing words and I didn't mean to choose the following but the chain led me to this sentence:
"What is the value of my - Choices (this option appeared 3 times, it was the only thing I could choose, it gave me chills)" And when I chose that... the whole screen went black, and it said:
writewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewrite
writewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewrite
writewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewrite
writewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewrite
writewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewrite
writewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewrite
writewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewrite
writewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewrite
writewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewritewrite
And then a giant red fly swapper and a dead fly appeared.
I was darned freaked out. - adimaska, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Interesting way of doing things, can't say I've seen too many sites like this before.
- DesireCampbell, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3I knows me some ugly - and you, you is fugly.
- mjjack, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1People think this is good design ??? WTF??? Good design needs to clearly communicate something... like what it is or why you should look at it. This is just lame mystery meat.
- rye425, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1You know somethings wrong with you personal site when it has the word "vagabond" in it.
- kbfdigg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0brilliant
- rhapsodic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't get it.
