- CLucas916, on 10/12/2007, -10/+165We need a delete comment button so I dont have to say
Digg down please - ij00mini, on 10/12/2007, -10/+51No we don't, because then people can delete comments and it's like detracting statements.
To them I say:
You said something and got dugg down, now own up it.
(unless the button is within the edit time-window, then I agree with you) - capitocapito, on 10/12/2007, -1/+41Will it alpha-blend?
- tmpoirier, on 10/12/2007, -1/+23I would agree, within the edit timeframe would be nice. i've entered a few and had to "digg down"
- surfing, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21we need another button to digg sideways.
- pbaehr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16That's strange, I heard that this feature wasn't being added until Web 2.1.
- Imagine3, on 10/12/2007, -5/+18Ill give you a +1 digg since that is a great idea that I have always thought about but never mentioned.
- sik0fewl, on 10/12/2007, -6/+14Why not:
"Oops, wrong thread. Digg up please"
? - Sferrero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7No... BUT they are free!! Free is good.
- ZaNkY, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Wow Digg is really stepping the game up! I've seen more 503s and 404s on Digg this week than I have in the past month!
/Another server bites the dust - kevsedg, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8http://duggmirror.com/design/Web_2_0_Free_Fading_Corner_Images_for_your_CSS
- andrewbmoore, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4... But what about the people who responded to your comment between the time you posted it and deleted it? Their comments would become parent-less nodes and disappear forever into limbo.
- JimmyIkon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Cause it’s on a shiny sunken table.
- Saiing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3That was my thought as well. You should be able to 'bury yourself' so you don't take up space, but leave the comment intact.
- raindogmx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Why not a delete button that hides the comment enterily but leaves an indication that a comment was there so when you click on it you can see the original message regarding that his author don't endorse it anymore.
- tep200377, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Is this a joke, what was the point ? just made a few images i PS ?
- MarvelingOne, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I like where I don't have to use any images better, but thats just my two cents I guess
- hicamel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Yeah, Web 2.0 is so "last year". Especially now that Web 3.0 is in beta.
- speerross, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2While you might be right in that a site can be Web 2.0 without the associatred graphic styles, the majority of web 2.0 sites use similair design trends which is why web 2.0 has a graphic style associated with it
- sensibledriver, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1More Wordpress sites like this!
- chrisxkelley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1free as in beer :)
- affinity, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2That page sucks ass
- NetLogic, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4That lasted long.
- ka05, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3This is what annoys the hell out of me.
Why must all these people keep referring to trendy little useless designs as "Web 2.0".
Web 2.0 is NOTHING to do with rounded corners, gradients or anything like that.
Seriously, who gave all these people the idea that they could make their site "Web 2.0" by changing it's design. - tarellel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2For everyone who gets 404's or 503's, their download link for all faded corner effects is the following - http://www.bittbox.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/01/fading_corners_all.zip
- JonForTheWin, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6I've been doing something similar with .PNG images for a long time. Not to put around text but for the corners to add depth to the site. Here's a screenshot of a simple example:

I love true transparency. =)

Enjoy? - Czaries, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Just goes to show you... All you have to do is put "Web 2.0" in the title, and viola! Front page! Come on, people. This isn't even _newsworthy_, let alone worthy to be on the front page. How about trying to digg some _newsworthy_ stories?

- underthelinux, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1@Sferrorororor
Yeah, agreed. I was just curious. - underthelinux, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Is this a difficult thing to do?
/genuineq - crossers, on 07/23/2008, -0/+0I find this pretty nice.

http://www.chasr.org/ - guruofinfo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thanks for the great corner fades. It is always nice to see someone giving back to the community.
However what is with everybody thinking Web 2.0 is a new graphic style? Web 2.0 has not a damn thing to do with the looks of a site. It has to do with having a user interactive site. Take this site for example. Users post the news, comment on the news, and basically decide if it lives or dies. This is what makes a site Web 2.0. A web 2.0 site can look ugly as all heck. I need to write a press release and straiten this out right now.
I have been recently fascinated with Web 2.0 and put a social networking teleconference together. The events name is Social Networking Unleashed. If you would like to sign up and join us on a free call or even grab a free copy of Profiles For Profits you can sign up here. http://www.guruofinterviews.com/snconf - daload, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1web 2.0 unofficiated
- iFrank, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Wow...dumb.
- AnteChronos, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3*points to capitocapito's comment*
See people? *That's* how it's done. The simple plug-n-play formula of Internet memes (in Soviet Russia, [object] [verb]s you!), but change it up with someting customized for the situation, and it's funny again. Although even that can only last so long (see ytmnd.com for examples). - Destroytoy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2..and those are web 2.0 becaaauuuuusse?!!
- tonytopper, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1$&%&$*!@#$ does this have to do with Web 2.0.
Death to the buzzword 'Web 2.0', the marketers have taken it now. - itsmrchris, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2why is this considered "web 2.0" ???
- MrViklund, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later. - simpleid, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2I saw the site, blue boxes everywhere! I probably crashed it...
- Joyrex, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1How is this useful to any web designer worth their salt? The only people this would benefit are those who aren't smart enough how to figure out how to do this in Photoshop themselves, and in that case, shouldn't be doing graphic design or web development.
- jeneaux, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2Fantastic, just what we need, more generic "Web 2.0" designs!
- NeoZenkai, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Agreed. What a useless link. Honestly people, find something better to do then digg stupid ***** like this.
- ginty, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1http://www.duggmirror.com
Wow that was quick. - GonadHunter, on 10/12/2007, -20/+5and..
will it blend?
and....
I for one welcome our fading corner overlords - MrViklund, on 10/12/2007, -18/+1ABadInAlbany LOL :D
- ABadInAlbany, on 10/12/2007, -25/+6Just to get this out of the way: in Soviet Russia, CSS corner fades you!
