  • ProjectGSX, on 08/15/2008, -1/+12Kind of defeats the purpose. Guys play female chars so they can stare at their butts on the screen as they run around. Cant do that in the suit. And women play as male characters to avoid getting hit on all day. Which is sad, since half of the guys playing are playing as female characters to begin with.

    Anyways, interesting study none the less.

    I find the sociology of SL pretty fascinating most of the time.

For me the best part of character creation games is being able to supplant myself as much as possible into the reality of the game. Escapism at its finest. Using a female character would make that escapism hard...but hey, whatever floats your boat.
