- tafkase7en, on 10/12/2007, -0/+86Wow what a piece of work that description is...
- Steelfox, on 10/12/2007, -40/+125I'm usually not the one to say this becuase I respect that other haven't seen some articles posted before, but seriously: THIS HAS BEEN ON DIGG SO MANY ***** TIMES.
- chocobomog, on 10/12/2007, -1/+60At least get his name right so people can find more of his work:
Rob Gonsalves

Well, I have'nt seen it beforeand I think it's awsome.
And, I don't care if you're mad at me. - dudemanbro, on 10/12/2007, -2/+38I didn't need 10-15 minutes to read "Internal Server Error"
- ArizonaRose, on 10/12/2007, -9/+38This may have been on DIGG so many F**king times, but this is the first time I have seen this...and I am sure there are others in the same boat. Life is a repeat of our past, therefore, one can not view art and creativity only once!
Thanks for sharing.... - Switch22, on 10/12/2007, -3/+30http://www.duggmirror.com
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+32Internal Server Error is pretty damn avant garde...
- TuPly, on 10/12/2007, -1/+22I liked them better when mc escher did them 60 years ago!
- Roger, on 10/12/2007, -13/+32Off topic, but have the digg admins even ACKNOWLEDGED that there's a huge demand for a pictures sections?
- drunkentoad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15They're good, but not 15 mins good.
- Obligation, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14With a description like that, how could I NOT be underwhelmed?
- SuperMank, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15They're mostly just "x is some landscape or something in the background that blends into y in the foreground that vaguely resembles x".
- kurttrail, on 10/12/2007, -5/+16It seems you didn't spell "*****" right, douchebag, and it would appear you did it on purpose.
Seems you don't practice what you preach. - demonotaku, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12Interesting, yes.
Cool-looking, yes.
Something about my understanding of reality (I really couldn't understand what the ***** the poster was trying to say there), no. - Ngai, on 10/12/2007, -15/+25@steelfox
Not every single one us has the time like you do...
oh and btw... the dugg down comment by me has some mirrors for the images in case it goes down. - gerkin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11The description does kind of read a little like the "hot stock" spams I get every few minutes :/
- Knivez, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10ENGRISH *****, DO YOU SPEAK IT?
- Salgat, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11Some of them I don't get, but all of them are top notch artwork.
- SgtAl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7M.C. Escher just called. He said this guy's a hack.
- compgeek, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8awesome pictures I especially liked the waterfall that turned into people in white robes
- bamiller3, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8I agree. I don't claim to be an art connoisseur but I know what I like. These just seemed like the same cheap parlor trick over and over again. Not a fan.
- Steyr47, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9http://duggmirror.com/design/Unbelievable_graphic_art_pictures_by_Rob_Gonzales_37_pictures/
Nice pictures - twinklyJesus, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9I've not seen his work before. He is impressive, but, he's no Salvador Dali.
- reevolutn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5some of them are brilliant while others are lacking inspiration, very good overall though
- drilldown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5The mistake of most people is in the comparison of digital art and hand wrought. 'Cause doing it with a physical brush in hand and a mouse on a computer are worlds apart. The thinking is worlds apart. What I could photochopper in 5 minutes, would take months by hand. And there are differences. Not interested in the same things.
Yet both provide a window to the imagination. People would not buy "art" if it did not. It would not be art. It would be a picture. It would not return it's value. Paint Shop Pro lent me the tools for the above left avatar. About 15min. work on Aeon Flux including the resize to spec. Mixed by hand for hours, learned for years, or punching around a bit in some photoshop. Well, I suspect it amounts to something very similar. Expression of the soul without words, sums it up nicely.
Me, I can appreciate the work/talent it takes, the fact that the server has fallen on its face, and most importantly: The ability to portray a feeling through image/art. To borrow a word, Picasso. Money to emotions think fast. - Flamekebab, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6"I warn, if you don't have 10-15 of totally free minutes - don't follow the link. These pictures takes viewer to reall misunderstanding of current reality. 37 really TOTALLY PERFECT visual illusions in real graphic ART, not some dots or patterns. P.S. Look with good doze of attention, its not cheap humour. Thats really worth of your attention."
I skimmed through this in three minutes, few of them are "totally perfect". This really isn't worth my attention.
***** overhyped *****.
ZOMG IT R SO GOOD.
Shut the hell up, it's kinda cool, it isn't the best thing since sliced bread. - loconet, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7How hard is it to attempt to write a coherent English sentence in the description? Have people really become that lazy? If English is not your first language, get someone to proof-read it! (like most of us did when learning the language). Damn msn/myspace/mtv!
- tomlaw, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6While this artist's technical drawing ability is unquestioned, I have to give him a resounding MEH on the subject matter. These have the same level of sugary gayness that the "Jesus playing sports with kids" statues have.
- swrostmore, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4These paintings are stiff and lifeless, and the artist's figure drawing skills are abominable. A perfect example of how stupid surrealism looks when the artist lacks any sort of visionary inspiration, psychosis, or at the very least, mind-altering drugs.
- S4MF1SHER, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Holy crap, I didn't know Pink Floyd was still releasing albums...
- gamechic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4This stuff kinda reminds me of Chris Van Allsburg's work.
- bebop717, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6That is one fine looking Internal Server Error looks better than the real thing!
- TheKingOfHell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I have the horrible foreboding sensation I am going to see prints of these on street markets everywhere...
- russellnation, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5very escheresque. nice
- ncapone, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5Very beautiful and serene paintings. Not all of them were good, but those that were good were really good.
- Schoffstall, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2they were good pictures, but they didn't confuse my mind
you would have to be in special ed preschool for that to mess with u - skyfire1, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5Most of the illusions are too repetitive and obvious. Still, this guy is a kickass artist.
- FIGJAM, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Nice...but totally derivative. A little bit of M.C. Escher and Rene Magritte thrown together.
- burke, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5Yes.
- riccohasdug, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2At least it was in 'Design'; I think most [OMGWTFPIC] submissions are placed in whatever topic the submitter finds themselves in.
Technology - BonhamsGhost, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5One trick pony
- MotionAesthetic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Agreed, these are hardly what I'd call illusions.
- xdefconx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2They're very good, but more like 60 seconds good...not 15 minutes...
- nimawin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3if you guys like this, you should see this one: http://digg.com/design/Fantastic_Art_of_Jacek_Yerka
- Erik1, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6They aren't "totally perfect" if i can't see them, mirror anyone?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1shows you how easy it is to fool a human perception that doesn't analyze much
- WikiEasy, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6Why do you guys dig down @ngai? I can't even open the site and his links go directly to the source!
It's people who do direct links that lead to less blog spam. I'm sick of blog spam on digg. - h3ndrix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Haha, I read this description and actually getting excited in clicking a link to a page that says "Internal Server Error"
- SteelFrog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oww, you broke my understanding of reality.
