90% of the time trying to make it work in IE6. - irascib1e, on 01/13/2009, -0/+5I think I'm more productive on the internet than in all my classes combined.
- Astheria, on 01/13/2009, -1/+6How 'bout we digg the actual articles instead of these stupid lists, instead of giving ad revenue to people who put in zero time or knowledge rather than the people actually providing the quality content?
- inactive, on 01/12/2009, -1/+6I have bookmarked this. Thanks for sharing :)
- Corrosionx, on 01/13/2009, -0/+4Can IE6 die now, please God?
- Charun, on 01/13/2009, -0/+4I don't understand how people can still be using IE6.
What a pain in the ass that is. - manitoba98xp, on 01/13/2009, -0/+4Well, apostrophes are the recommended (perhaps even the correct) way to do it. It gets worse when you want more levels. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nested_quote#Example_ ... . Basically, you alternate " and ' to establish hierarchy.
As is pointed out earlier in the article, however, we _do_ have opening and closing quotation marks, like with parentheses, but they have fallen into disuse. They are “ and ”. - ScotchInBox, on 01/13/2009, -0/+4good list - but kind of a crappy looking website - what's up with that

- Jeepinator, on 01/13/2009, -0/+3Embedded quotes would be done with apostrophes. You quote should have looked like this:
I want to see "The top 10 '50 Best List' List." - cadmiumpaint, on 01/13/2009, -0/+3this is great...the css typography tutorials on here are gold and will really help me translate some of my print design skills into web design.
- simonsez21, on 01/13/2009, -1/+3Thanks, it was very help full!
- Phazoni, on 01/13/2009, -0/+2I thought DIGG was a bookmarking site? Isn't bookmarking this and digging it, redundant? I'm so confused...
- threat42, on 01/13/2009, -0/+2Irony at its best.
- zacheos, on 01/14/2009, -0/+2Wow... Another list of lists of lists...
- dualaudi, on 01/15/2009, -0/+2I just want to know how to bottom align a bg image in a div.
- criaturaw, on 01/14/2009, -0/+2Smashing Magazine. FTW.
- Jeepinator, on 01/13/2009, -0/+2Word does opening and closing quotations automatically. It is basically like using parentheses and brackets in a huge algebra equation.
- findhostcoupons, on 03/22/2009, -0/+1Thanks a lot! It is interesting for me to read since I am studying CSS now!
- KingGorilla, on 01/13/2009, -1/+2Web design's my boyfriend! Websites are my hot hot sex
