- psych0fish, on 01/25/2008, -8/+13Google Cache
http://209.85.135.104/search?hs=sUq&hl=en&lr=&c2co ...- psych0fish, on 01/25/2008, -2/+10why are you guys burying a working mirror?
- grinndaddy, on 01/25/2008, -1/+1Or use this mirror. Google Cache's images don't work, but these do: http://www.grinn.net/blog/dev/2008/01/mirror-101-c ...
- grinndaddy, on 01/25/2008, -1/+1Oops. Scratch that. Google's images are working now. My bad.
- sotopheavy, on 01/26/2008, -0/+1First 8 commenters... pwned.
- Narcism, on 01/25/2008, -5/+29Most of those techniques don't validate...
- ePuck, on 01/25/2008, -19/+4You should explain yourself instead of just trolling. CSS is a bunch of great little hacks anyway. Who cares if its not to W3 standards. 90% of the sites out there don't conform anyway.
- maexus, on 01/25/2008, -0/+13That's the exact reason that web development has been crippled for the last 10+ years. Conforming to standards pushes the technology vs everyone doing their own thing. Microsoft, I'm looking at you.
- AlexanderBlue, on 01/25/2008, -0/+11I like how you chastise somebody to not troll, then say, "Who cares if its not to W3 standards." Err, I do, and I'm an IT manager.
As a result the sites we create not only validate, but work with IE6, IE7, FF, Opera, Safari, etc... and degrade properly with old and lightweight browsers such as one two on my BlackBerry. So you might not care, but your next boss might.

- IEatHamburgers, on 01/25/2008, -3/+9How about a story about CSS techniques that isn't in a form of a Top 10/100/whatever list?
- seantubridy, on 01/25/2008, -7/+5That extra 1 will make me awesome.
- Shady81, on 01/25/2008, -6/+14Enough with the 100 lists of CSS crap. Most of them are outdated and invalid and shouldn't be rehashed by "LOL I MADE TEH LINK BLINK!" assholes like you.
- Sidzilla, on 01/25/2008, -0/+2Msaleem just submits whatever he is paid to, and then his legion of diseased followers digg it up to the front page. He and some of the other 'top diggers' are why the algorithm needed to be changed, and their kind are why some 'top diggers' get mysteriously banned. i can't wait for them to fix the loopholes in the system so that self important assholes like him will just go away.
- xlar54, on 01/25/2008, -3/+20Good gravy... how about 101 tricks to keep your webserver up.
- seantubridy, on 01/25/2008, -5/+4"All Time" people! From the big bang through the middle ages, these are the top ones! But if this is the first, with the next list be "the top 101 beyond all time?" I can't wait!
- olegk, on 01/25/2008, -5/+10Most of these are lame. Here's the list:
CSS Sprites
CSS Rounded Corners
Image Replacements Technique
Sliding Doors
Image Text Wrap Technique
Equal Height Technique
Turning A List Into A Navigation bar
Making Headlines With CSS
CSS Shadows Techniques
CSS Transparency
Various Link Techniques- Lane5slacker, on 01/25/2008, -2/+3How does that equal 101?
- duniyadnd, on 01/25/2008, -1/+3The above are categories.. there are a bunch of tips/lessons in each one.
- Chirp08, on 01/25/2008, -1/+5how is that lame? There are many people who have no ***** clue how to do that stuff, and therefore these are important techniques. Not lame by any means. wtf were you actually expecting?
- Lane5slacker, on 01/25/2008, -2/+3How does that equal 101?
- olegk, on 01/25/2008, -11/+2Most of these are lame. Here's the full list:

Various Link Techniques- papastout, on 02/01/2008, -0/+1What's so lame? Do you not undersand wha the article is saying?
- DiggExposed, on 01/25/2008, -0/+5Another dupe from msaleem, come on man dont just lurk around the archives for your content, every single story you submit is already on digg: http://digg.com/programming/101_CSS_Techniques_Of_ ...
Someone else already posted part 2, cant wait to see your submission of it tomorrow.- Awsumthx, on 01/25/2008, -3/+0I don't get why it's so important for people to get front page stories.
Look at me! I'm on front page! :D - papastout, on 02/01/2008, -0/+1...ego trip with digg as the vehicle
- Awsumthx, on 01/25/2008, -3/+0I don't get why it's so important for people to get front page stories.
- grinndaddy, on 01/25/2008, -1/+3*WORKING* mirror: http://www.grinn.net/blog/dev/2008/01/mirror-101-c ...
...But use the original if it's up. - dxgg, on 02/05/2008, -2/+3Of all time? Don't you mean of the last 10 years?
- skidooer, on 01/25/2008, -1/+2Are you suggesting there were better CSS techniques invented before CSS itself?
- dxgg, on 02/05/2008, -0/+2Nope. I'm suggesting that 10 years does not define "of all time" and using that phrase for attention-seeking is just silly.
- skidooer, on 01/25/2008, -1/+2Are you suggesting there were better CSS techniques invented before CSS itself?
- Shawnshank, on 01/25/2008, -2/+2Does "all time" include infinite future and past?
- DiggerUpper, on 01/27/2008, -0/+0Maybe
- timwright12, on 01/25/2008, -1/+1This list is kinda lame. Image replacement is one of the worst things people do with CSS; it virtually defeats the purpose and bogs down the CSS
- TrafficProducer, on 01/25/2008, -1/+1link fails http://www.noupe.com/design/101-css-techniques-of- ...
- optimusprime01, on 01/25/2008, -0/+1Nice ones.
- anita1365, on 01/26/2008, -0/+0The link is working now, also Part2 is available here:
http://digg.com/design/101_CSS_Techniques_Of_All_T ... - biocandy, on 01/26/2008, -0/+1Best use of CSS ever: www.biocandy.dk
- Miriverite, on 01/27/2008, -0/+1How many of these are actually standards-compliant and can work -outside- of IE?
Dugg for a few valid ones and promotion of CSS over old-school messy HTML written in crappy WYSIWYG editors. - sassyt, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Very nice collection! Cool stuff =)
