Time-lapse video of the four seasons in Norway

eirikso.com — For all of 2005 I have been taking a picture out of our living room window at random intervals. Now I have finished a video that runs through one year outside our window. All of it in about one and a half minute.

  • tskoge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0a-ha's video for the song "Lifelines" (from their 2002 album; yes, they're the ones with "Take on Me") features segments from the short film "Året gjennom Børfjord" from 1991, known in English as "A Year Along the Abandonded Road", which is a more advanced version of the same idea, with the camera moving through the landscape as the seasons change. Very, very cool.

    Good Idea, and Great Pictures. I never tho't about the trees having different looks to them, except for snow and rain.. The bark even changes.

    Yes, the original video I made is High Definition. 1280x720 50p.

    Right now I am travelling and unable to post it to BitTorrent. (It's 120 MB so it would eat my bandwidth if I just posted it on my blog).

    I will post a new article on my blog when I have uploaded the HD version as well. If you subscribe to my feed or sign up for the email notice you'll know when it's out there...
