- EvilDr.X, on 10/12/2007, -7/+135OK, I've got 22 hours and 14 minutes to find a cooler picture now... thanks for giving me something to do.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -43/+168This is boring.
- sancho320, on 10/12/2007, -18/+112why are you on digg. you're not that cool!
- mindsnare, on 10/12/2007, -4/+50@sockpuppets
that was beautiful, brought a tear to my eye - 13tongimp, on 10/12/2007, -4/+45Digg: the home of excessive hyperbole.
- dosterm, on 10/12/2007, -1/+37It's the most hyperbolic website ever... in the history of the universe.
- tw0k1ngs, on 10/12/2007, -34/+65I for one welcome our new citrus overlords.
- Cam_86, on 10/12/2007, -8/+37perryge, stop acting like a thilly goose!
*chugs some O.J - orientis, on 10/12/2007, -6/+33Makes me want juice.
- soupyc, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18http://www.theslicery.com/images/awesome.jpg
That picture is by far the coolest picture ever. Doesn't matter if I haven't actually looked at it today, it will forever hold the title of coolest picture.
I mean, come on. Chewie. On the drums. Vader, on wires! - johnthedebs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15Juice? Man what the hell is juice... It makes me want some _drink_.
- jokerthief, on 10/12/2007, -7/+20"Don't. Orange juice makes you gay."
No, it's soy that makes you gay. - yonis, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16The guy who submitted this to Digg registered today.
I'll bet it's the same guy who submitted it to deviantArt. - sancho, on 10/12/2007, -4/+16That picture totally whelmed me.
- borninda818, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11deviantart is pretty damn big...It's not gunna shut down any time soon
- rompom7, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Excessive hyperbole... As opposed to the non-excessive kind of hyperbole?
- grooviekenn, on 10/12/2007, -5/+12This is the WORST subliminal message I've EVER seen!!
thirsty....
soooo.... thirsty... - Mitchum, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7... and so that you could make that totally useless comment. Thank you so very much for contributing.
- undersky, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7wtf?
- firemillen2, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8give me a ***** break. this is spam for deviantart.
- sterlingtjones, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I like the technique, I just don't like the layout of the picture. The focus isn't there, leaves little interest.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6hmmm.... you just ruined my day by saying that thats gonna be the coolest picture i'm gonna see.
- tomi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I thought this was pretty sweet. You try taking a picture like that.
@yonis: After a half a year? Hmm. - popltree2, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7But will it blend? Wait...
- NiteShok, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I don't dig the hyperbole in the title, but it's a pretty cool picture. I've got myself a new desktop background now, thanks. It's not the coolest picture I've seen today, though - that title belongs to one of Will Murai's pieces, I can't decide which.
http://www.willmurai.com/ (also featured on the front page of Digg today) - thurows, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Not Photoshop. All it is is a sheet of Plexi-glass on top of some oranges, water drops act as lenses. Focus on the water drops shallow depth of field blurs oranges underneath. Not everything is Photoshop, there are people that have the experience to do this old school. Read us old guys.
- tomi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Although I somewhat agree with you, you get buried for immaturely calling them gay. What are you? 5 years old?
- thescimitar, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Yeah, this is hardly the "coolest picture" I saw today. Then again, I spent today looking at Kim Weston's portfolio. But the number of users on Digg who would know who Kim Weston is, let alone Edward Weston, is probably only slightly smaller than the number of users who would be aware of the same on DeviantART.
I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just wish people paid a tiny bit of attention to history and read an art book once in a great while. If this was a technology story about "the coolest code you'll see today" and it was just a retarded rehash of some inventive but not particularly original script... it would be buried into oblivion. - Crazychipmunk, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Well, I figured since you all got your hopes up about the best picture you would see today, I thought I would make y'all one to cheer you up: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/46705832/
Your welcome. - Locke40, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3digg is not about the comments about the sites, only the sites themselves... we need to starting focusing our attention back on the sites; then maybe all this "hyperbole" will start to disappear... wait, am i just adding to the misery that i already feel?
- Managore, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I thought the title was appropriately moderate. It claimed that there was a likely chance this would be the best picture seen today. Not *definately* the best picture today, and not likely the best picture *ever* either, so I think the title did a good job. Or as most people would say, "OMG!! BEST title EVER!!!!!"
- Appox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Not the best picture I've ever seen, but it isn't bad at all.
- Jadinlee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is the coolest comment you're likely to see today.
- Seanpr123, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I took this one a while back. Took forever to finally get one that looked cool. Nothing too special but I like it.

http://seandapaul.com/pics/large.jpg - erikt311, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2'that was beautiful, brought a tear to my eye"
Hey, you could take a picture of all your tears and your face reflected in them all. It will be the coolest picture we have all seen all day. - Domestiques, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I like it, not the best I will see today, but still, worth the 30 seconds I spent on it.
- rompom7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Huh? It's a picture, read the guys description. Also.. 'photochoppered', what the hell is that?
- Bluu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Anybody care to make an equally keen Demotivator out of this?
- captjc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Still now as awesome as the Star Wars Rock band picture

Even Styx looks crappy in comparison - inquebiss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2When you say "The coolest picture you're likely to see today", you really get my expectations up. It really wasn't that cool. Thanks for letting me down.
- drumkid503, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2clearly, not enough oranges in your picture.
- Yetimon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Very cool :) Cheers for the link
- dotdan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1For a moment I expected this to be that pokemon picture that was posted earlier.
- quakeIII, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The overlords need to pop. I, Jim Raynor am requesting that all Terrans build Turrets immediately. If any Protoss can read this message, please send some corsairs.
- luckyllama, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I must be having a crappy day :(
- Andross01, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I saw this photo almost two years ago...at least grab something new if you're gonna post a "photo of the day" digg story.
Not that epic anyway (in comparison to other work on devArt). - masgrada, on 10/12/2007, -14/+15I'd have to agree, that's pretty boring. There's a million pictures like this with different objects behind the water droplet.
- daimposter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1is this the decline of digg? an 'ok' picture received 2400+ diggs! i'm never going to trust another one of the "coolest picture of the day/moment/ever" again.
- raistlinsghost, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Looks like it should be on a wall somewhere. Sign would go something like "Fulfillment: Each drop in the bucket helps fill the pail", or something equally lame.
