- Alfyx, on 11/07/2008, -17/+49Although it is comprised of only fractals, another great site is exoteric.roach.org
http://exoteric.roach.org/bg/index.html - leonwehttam, on 10/16/2007, -5/+29http://www.mandolux.com/
not only does he have multiple sizes, he has made them to be used with multiple monitors. - frogpelt, on 10/12/2007, -5/+28http://www.stevetruett.com/wallpaperpages/wallpaper_home.html is also a good one for high resolution fractal type backgrounds. Also free.
Sizes available:
2560 x 1600
1920 x 1200
1600 x 1200
1680 x 1050

1280 x 960
1024 x 768
480 x 272 - Decon89, on 10/22/2007, -2/+21This site is awesome :) Much better than clicking around on deviantart forever :D
- quixotik1, on 11/01/2007, -7/+23I've always loved http://www.digitalblasphemy.com
- Tekmazter, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12I use something called Ultramon to handle my 3 screens using a single wallpaper. Very easy that way.
- skydivingdutch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Digg for the use of Superb instead of AMAZING!!!!11
- Civil44, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10I love so many of these A+ thanks for making my desktop awsome again!
- avatarpalin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10yes until they went nuts with membership sections
- cwcheang, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10http://www.caedes.net/
pretty good. thanks - xoineg, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10Don't forget to check out the Icons. they are great....If you are a mac user they have some cool folders so you can change the look of your folders.
- Hardcase, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10Oh no it's not!
- innate, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8I wasn't aware that he "hates Windows", but it can be a difficult to get multi-monitor wallpaper to work on Windows because you can't select a different wallpaper for each monitor. You have to stitch multiple images together using Photoshop and then use tile mode to make it work.
- mahler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Are you talking about yourself in the royal plural form?
- procdaddy, on 10/12/2007, -7/+13and he hates Windows!
- frith, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10High Quality desktop backgrounds are hard to find. Thanks to sites like Mandolux, and Interface lift we have them now, but I am still surprised that is so hard to find decent desktops for multiple monitors. I have a widescreen monitor set at 1920x1200 and a smaller 17 monitor set at 1280x1024, but it would be nice to have some bigger HQ widescreen desktops.
- megagram, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Shameless plug for my own wallpaper and my beautiful city of Vancouver:
http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/details.php?id=678
Digg me down, sure. But check out the picture before you do :D - aNoble, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8This one always cracks me up ( http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/details.php?id=681 ). You see it and similar shots as wallpaper all over the place. The irony of it is that it's one of the ugliest places in any Disney park anywhere during the day, but it does look nice at night.
- synmoo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Nobody caters to us 2960x1050 folk. :-(
- Rikushix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5An amazing site for wallpapers. Especially love the Vancouver one, but maybe I'm biased from living there ;)
- BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6:P

Although, it looks like I'm going to have to wait a day or two to grab some of them thanks to it catching the *digg effect*.
- vhtrading, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Gorgeous photographs! Digg.:)
- bradx3, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8I wrote a* script to change my background regularly in XFCE using a Flickr pool. I think I'll modify it to use this feed tomorrow. You can get the old XFCE script here: http://www.scotchtober.com/blog/?p=23
* hackish, half finished, but mostly working - dephrye, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Not bad, the ferris wheel one is damn nice.
- Books, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yay! Mine is the 2nd most downloaded now :)
- Trams, on 10/12/2007, -5/+7Hell yeah... love that site. I even submitted some wallpapers on there a while back. I get all my icons from there too. It used to be xicons.com (if any of the mac people remember that one) then they added wallpapers and themes and changed the name to interfacelift. Great name! Great site!
Here's my stuff on the site if anyone is interested:
http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/artists.php?id=439 - josh1413, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Wow, great find!
- windhawk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Amazing wallpapers!
- PepperMinty, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It is sooooo sad seeing a good digg fall back into the dark and dusty archive.
- lauch, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I've been using this site for weeks. Every morning I'll check the site, and usually end up changing my desktop to the newest one. It's about time someone dugg for it.
- NobleArc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Fantastic website, I've been using it for years now. Dugg!
- optimus_maximus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2What's going to happen when we eventually have transparent LCD panels?
- Floris, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That was amazing. Great images. Bookmarked & Digged
- Slickick, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Great Site!! One of the best I've seen.
- RyanRalph, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I've been using this site for awile. Their Icons are even better!
- DennisK2020, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Sweeeet. No more searching through gimicky sites riddled with pop-ups only to discover that a beautiful landscape only comes in 800 x 600. Thanks!
- steal_apps01, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5buy a mac and you can do that.
- steal_apps01, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This website is great, I changed all my os x icons to cartoony ones with a new wallpaper it looks great.
- chuckayoub, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Just what I was looking for.
- Dunce, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Awesome Wallpapers...now my desktop is alive
- SalemWin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Nice wallpapers! Thanks!
- Robmash, on 10/12/2007, -1/+33000 diggs in 17 hour wow
- Keenor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Great site for beautiful desktop backgrounds.
- Create, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3i had the same problem with firefox... its because of his goto.php script
to fix it, pick your size from the list, and then right click on the download link and select "copy link location" and then paste in a new tab or window or whatever and remove the "http://interfacelift.com/goto.php?url=" from the front of the link before clicking go and you can save them as normal.
its a little bit of a pita, but the wp's are worth it! - sreenisatish, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Or...middle click to open in a new tab and after the image loads, right click and save as...give filename as imagename.jpg
Whoops! That was for the post below. Silly me! - ketan9, on 11/16/2007, -0/+1Visit http://www.dieselstation.com/manufacturers/wallpap ... for high res car wallpapers
